The scale of the mod truly is amazing. Moving to Vegas now and I've already visited so many locations. It's mind-boggling.

By the way, who did vouch for you in Reno regarding Stryker/Thompson/Casino boss? All their quests require you to have someone to vouch for you, but I couldn't meet that requirement.

The vouch is a lie. You just need a high enough level, 7 I think? Might be higher but it's definitely only a level requirement.

I'll assume you meant Gerlach, since there's no way for Black Rock to join Vault City. There is. Based on what you tell Sergeant Stark in VC, you can also choose to make Sergeant decides that Gerlach needs to be wiped out, and he'll task you to do it.

Thanks, that's what I meant. So:
There's no neutral outcome, as in, let Gerlach just be and establish trade routes or something? Killing them all or making them slaves is not an appealing choice ;)

Another questions:
Are nightshade berries a one time unique item or will I be able to get more later on? I used my first batch of the berries for a cure for the whore but I now know there is a potential use for the poison.

There are bushes in quite a few locations, these regrow a few days after being harvested and doctors/medicine men tend to stock the berries regularly as well.

Does anyone know what is needed to amputate Solomon's finger in New Reno? Do I need some kind of specific item(s) or/and high Doctor skill maybe?

Useful note: if you need poison for the casino framing quest, the drug dealer near the casino's entrance can make poisoned beer bottles. I've yet to find how to dispatch them in the casino though...

I haven't gotten to that quest but you probably just need high Doctor. If that doesn't work, there's a scalpel item that you can buy off some chem/meds vendors that might.

Anyone knows how to create a diversion during Luciano's food delivery to the hotel? Tried talking to everyone and disguising as a Luciano guard, it doesn't help.

Flammable barrel in one of the buildings, use a lighter on it.
Thanks, but could you be a little more specific? I've tried using my lighter on almost everything, even threw a couple of molotov cocktails around, but nothing catches fire.

Yeah, kind of a bummer, really.

If I recall correctly, you just have to use them on the patrons.
I think you don't need to 'use' the poisoned beers on the patrons. Just use Steal on them and reverse pickpocket the poisoned beers into their inventory. You have to do this on several NPCs until a message tells you you've done enough.

This is actually the quest to destroy Luciano's Ranch without killing Luciano. The quest Marten talked about is the one before that, which is ruining Luciano's food delivery to Silver Legacy's Restaurant. And as HoboForEternity suggested, that's one way to it.

Thanks for all the help guys. I'm currently stuck near the end, but overall I think I'm pretty much done with my first complete playthrough.

Visited Salt Lake City and the bikers at Battle Mountain, did the caravan quest for them, but can't ask them "by the way, which one of you guys stole my water chip or whatever", nor "do you know of a biker that went to Vault City?". Nobody in Salt Lake City, Vegas or Reno knows anything about that either.

It is definitely a brillant mod. The scale is huge, the content is consistently original, interesting and challenging. Sometimes a bit too much challenging: I don't know if it's because of the translation, bugs or the lack of a journal, but some quests are very hard to complete. But they make great use of pacific skills, so there's that. By the way, it's funny, I actually felt my first character, a warrior, was way off. The game is obviously designed for talkers/scientists/thieves, not so much for fighters. It's especially obvious in the lack of targets: although Fallout, Fallout 2 and Fallout 1.5 were filled with thugs and small gangs to eliminate, Fallout of Nevada is way more peaceful and reluctant to suggest violence to the player.
Although the economy remains solid until the very end, I thought the end game didn't deliver quite as much as the early game, with Reno and the minor villages. All the maps are amazing and full of life, but Vegas and Salt Lake City aren't nearly as big nor full of quests as Reno is, which is disappointing. I think that's one thing Fallout 1.5 Resurrection did better - worldbuilding, with locations slowly getting bigger and bigger.
All in all an amazing achievement, and I want to thank the modding and the translation team for bringing this gem to us. I have enjoyed every minute playing this, and I'm prepared to enjoy a dozen more playthrough within the next years. :salute:

Does anyone have a rough idea of how many hours a complete playthrough can take?

Casino boss: casino manager, he's at the same floor as his boss, in one of the rooms
Stryker: if you let the one of his thugs live during the last casino quest (the one related to his son) he will reommend you to stryker
Thompson: finish casino boss questline

Icewater finally, a cure for our impediment!

This is a mistake of the original game. Here's the solution:
Open program F12se --> NCR3.SAV --> script VCSlvRn2.int --> edit LVAR_5 and LVAR_6 in 0

add this script to the next update, it should solve this problem in the future, but if the error is already there, then only the method above will help:
https://yadi.sk/d/j3qwaPO93YSPGf

Fix more:
NCMachet.msg (not enough line {164})
NCOlvGrd.msg (missing parenthesis {1125})
NCMormnB.msg (string not translated {113})
I only did this with my latest save folder, and it's finally ok to enter the Slaver's Town normally. Or, maybe you can make a save in Las Vegas, somewhere before entering Slaver's Town to make sure the problem is there, use this method to solve it, and see if it fixes your game. It does for mine.

Cool. I'd already finished all the story-related stuff I needed there but I wanted to get the Unarmed skill increases and bonus point of strength from the training in the underground area.

Question about a Las Vegas quest:

Anyone managed to successfully convinced those Black Caravan assholes to take you to their base? I know you can hide in the cart and get there. But I'd rather not get shot when I try to talk to the guard.
