Could somebody upload it to YouTube or something? I get the audio but the video is not showing up on the Gamebanshee page.

Hmm, it finally worked with Internet Explorer, you have to manually reload a few times.

Not all that informative but it looks nice, clean, and relatively easy to use. The graphics satisfy me, looks like an improved Arcanum.

That's why you asked us to post impressions here? Same thing, BTW. Can't watch the video.
I hoped that someone will succeed where I failed.

The interface shots are very short. The interface looks clean and simple, graphics are decent 2D, nothing to write home about but not revolting either. Spell effects and animations are kinda nice.

I guess I wouldn't be terribly interested in the game based on that trailer alone.

It works in IE if you reload it manually.

Like someone said before it sort of looks like Arcanum, not sure if I'd go as far as to say that it's better. The trailer is mostly combat and it looks pretty smooth, there's a pretty neat spell effect where the character blows up everything in sight including some zombies and few barrels. One random thing I noticed is that lighting plays a big role as in torches and lamps and stuff. Two shots, one in the dungeon and one in the forest, show that it might be important to stack up on torches before venturing out. Hopefully, it's all affected by stats because otherwise it would be just for show.

Another thing I noticed in the last combat shot, the one with three bats, is some type of grid like in Age of Decadence though it looked a lot less "in your face" than in VD's game.

Overall there isn't much more to say about this, nothing really earth shattering happens. Am I impressed? Sort of. Simple, the game is aimed at a particular crowd and it makes it pretty obvious. I'd buy it.

It's better in that the graphics are clearer and that the interface is intrusive. During some of the sequences you have the whole screen viewable (probably can be toggled) which just looks much better than in Arcanum where it took up 30% of the screen space.

Didn't like it. It showed mostly boring combat and spell effects. Reminded me of Diablo and its clones. There are better ways to make a teaser.

True about the interface. The graphics do look clearer but it's just that the trailer doesn't show enough of the gameworld for me to say that yet. Seeing a big city or a castle or something like that would help. Guess what I'm going for is that clearer may sometimes mean simpler and less detailed world. Sometimes. Again, I'd have to see more.

This is why I have LiveHTTPHeaders installed to get the videos without having to screw around, not knowing why the player itself isn't working.

But anyway.

It's isometric, turn-based, and overall not next-gen enough.

It's sort of pretty, but not particularly impressive overall. I'll probably stick to Rogue for getting my dungeon crawling fix.

Looks like it could be fun to play, I'll probably end up buying it.

Looks good to me. I'll buy it when it comes out. I agree that it gives the impression it would be more fun as a party than a solo.

Looks good, I'm still interested. And it looks like he has spent alot of time on polish, and it shows.

Oh and I think the link mentions you need to d/l the Divix encoder to view the clip.

Everything flipped by too fast for me to catch more than a glimpse, but I didn't like the reddish light in the dungeon. Hopefully it'll be possible to get natural looking torchlight. Dungeons with weird lighting really turns me off, both in Arcanum and in the Dawn of Magic demo. But then again, I still don't have time to play this game.

Looks like my kind of game. Day one purchase for me.

Would have like d to make a party of adventurers but that certainly won't make me skip the game.

I really like the use of lighting in the woods. The pop-up windows seem very manageable. I guess it doesn't look nearly as bad as I thought at first. I just got a lot of negative vibes from the overall graphics and gameplay, which remind me of all the dull ARPGs I've played.

Basilisk Wrangler has been very careful about revealing information about the story, so there's some hope it'll be good enough to balance out the old school dungeon crawl aspects.

It should be illegal to make webpages as bad as that one. Game looks interesting though.
