Party based with real time combat so I sleep. There is a party-based sequel in the works but i wouldn't expect it anytime soon.
I don't like the 'new and awesome or whatever' 3D visuals much, to be honest :/ Or maybe they are mere alpha screenshots?Party based with real time combat so I sleep. There is a party-based sequel in the works but i wouldn't expect it anytime soon.

Those are Dungeon Master copies.Surprised nobody has mentioned Legend of Grimrock 1 and 2. Only played the sequel but enjoyed it all the same.
I like that post. Apparently if the game is good we're all going to find that good/landmark parts in completely different stuff.Late Might & Magic games are quite unique.
MM1-6 are blobbers, but 7-9 are 'normal' RPGs. They have almost nothing in common with Wizardry 8, Wizards & Warriors, Legend of Grimrock and others, except for the first-person perspective and party-based character system.
Take a look at the dungeons, for example. In blobbers you spend most of your time exploring dungeons, walking among similarly looking corridors and tunnels. This is true for Might & Magic 6, for example, but in 7-9 dungeons are relatively small and packed with content.
MM7-9 are not about exploring dungeons, they're about wanderings across thee world, finding adventures. So nothing in common with traditional blobbers.
It can't be that ba- the most AI stuff I saw in a single trailer ever
