What version of Dungeon Keeper Gold do they use? And does it still pretty much demand the use of KeeperFX to be playable?

It's a bundle with a Dosbox, which is badly configured and the game is too slow. I just use my custom one, and it worked like a charm. Although in higher resolution with more monsters on screen will give you a low fps count. Keeperfx works with gog version, and the speed is way better.

Here is a useful link if you want to mod DK.

Caved and bought it, KeeperFX works without a hitch with it.
You just need to mount the .gog file to use as the CD.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Hint: The AI is much better than in the vanilla DK. I was really surprised when the other Keeper started building bridges towards my base, and it had high leveled monsters. So keep separate saves for the beginning phase of mission, and the others for advancing. Hero-only maps, as Blaise End are also harder.

Given that Grunker complained about "extraneous skills" in Wasteland 2, he'd probably have an aneurysm looking at that skill list.

Depends on whether they were actually relevant to the game or not.

Well, you didn't have a problem deciding what was and wasn't relevant to Wasteland 2 without having played it, so I assumed you wouldn't have trouble here either... :smug:

I didn't have trouble expressing doubts regarding WL2, and since those doubts were pretty lend credence by what the designers said, my educated guesses were fine. This game, however, I don't know shit about.

Cyanide Studios is the RPG equivalent of City Interative. Given the RPG market produces so little, I say this is not a bad thing.

This princess thing is pretty hardcore. Random as fuck, and based mostly on proper balancing ( I guess it's a good thing). I just died and have to go back 15 rounds. Save often people.

It's probably the best VN I've ever played. It's not much, but it's something. "C&C bitches" I guess.

Never heard of this game before, I'm intrigued, wishlisted.

Anyway, Steam has a demo of it, if someone want to try before buy.

Dark Matter is the same price on Steam and I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream was just added to Steam for a buck less. Please try harder.

Sooo Carmageddon 2 does nothing for you?
Meh, I can certainly appreciate it more than the latest Indie stuff but I'm not into that genre at all. You really need to be price matching Steam too because I want I have No Mouth but Gaben's making it too easy right now.

The situation is a bit murkier in thirldwordia, what with all the €1 = $1.
