Sure it's cheaper on GOG at the moment, but I got the Steam version for 75 cents. Next time GOG should undercut with a game that hasn't been available that cheaply.

JudasIscariot I have a question. GOG is currently selling Arx Fatalis. The game's page says that the publisher is "Arkane Studios". But Arkane is wholly owned by Bethesda since 2010, and you guys don't have any contract with them as far as I know.

It's the same on Steam, by the way - the publisher is Arkane Studios, not Bethesda Softworks. So how does that work? Did the founders of Arkane cut some deal with their new owners that Arx Fatalis revenue goes directly to their pockets?

I really have no idea as that kind of stuff is way beyond me. Sorry :(

Arkane could be a wholly owned subsidiary where they can still be the name of the publisher whole Bethesda gets the profits. Movie studios do this a lot

We'll know Bethesda's feelings toward GOG very shortly, when the Fallout games revert to Bethesda having distribution rights in two months.

Thanks for this! I've been waiting for a Sanitarium sale for awhile. I figured Halloween would be the time for it!

Aaaaaaaand Avadon 2: The Corruption is officially released :D

http://af.gog.com/game/avadon_2_the_corruption?as=1649904300

Do you guys have an exclusivity deal or will it come out on other portals later today?

:hmmm:

What. This is relevant to my newsposting. According to the Spiderweb Software site it's supposed to be on Steam too, so I guess it'll be out there later today.
