Maybe if there was a fuck patch it'd be ok. Neptunia main game franchise looks lifeless, while the sidescroller RPG looks better. The the rest are Pop Idol fashion shows with dress-up and I guess arena shooter/fighters or some shit. I'm guessing that is what you get by looking at the catalog. At least Mary Skelter looks like a blobber.

Are these Neptunia games even any good?
I've heard the english translation of some of the Neptunia series is not that accurate.

For example apparently people were so dissatisfied with the english translation of Neptunia Re;Birth2 that they released their own fan translation patch for it: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=542831125

However from what I've read the translation does become much better after the english release of Megadimension Neptunia VII as they changed who they were using to handle their translations with that game.

If you are talking about the crossover game Neptunia x Senran Kagura: Ninja Wars that just released on GOG this review suggests that it has less features than the rest of the mainline Senran Kagura series:

(Review was posted by a person called 'Mordeth_Kai' on GOG November 7, 2022)
Visually the game looks good, gameplay is simplistic but so are the other senran games. Unfortunately, staples of the franchise are gone, no outfit customization, no underwear collecting, no clothes destruction mechanics, the fanservice is pretty much gone. This is a soulless cash grab to milk both franchises one last time before everyone gives up on them completely.

So if any of that is important to you it may not be worth the price they are currently asking for it.

I've only played the first one (didn't finish it) but they're lighthearted grindfests with a bunch of references into the console gaming industry (i mean the world is called -IIRC- "Gamindustri" and the girls are supposed to represent consoles :-P).

It can be fun, especially if you are/were into gaming consoles in the 90s and early 2000s, but i have a feeling 3 out of 4 jokes went over my head.

Now GOG has even removed the "number of messages posted" field from posters in their forum. It's a small thing, but it shows clearly where their priorities are, and is just yet another step of the decline.

I'm slowly DLing my hoard. I finished up A, Z, Y, and almost demolished X. It takes a while when you have to bike several miles to a library and can only use the computers for 2 hours each weekday + saturday (assuming no holiday or me being busy). These multi-fucking-gig titles are slowing me megadown.

I don't recall GOG's forum ever showing the number of posts from users by their name/avatar.

It did used to show their rep points, which was a combination of things regarding # of posts, question threads solved, highly rated posts, etc. I think GOG dispensed with that last year, but you can see your own rep score if you click 'My Settings' above the list of forum topics.

Hmm...now that you mention it, it seems I had already forgotten how it was.

I used to ckeck the forums daily, but now it's more like monthly.
