Never tried it,but I heard people are giving it some scathing reviews.
Can you play games without it? You just download from the website and install? That would be so much better than that garbage.
Of course. You download offline,then install and play.
Don't know about multiplayer though. I think those bitches made it so you can't play multiplayer without Galaxy(don't quote me on it).

I've noticed that nearly everyone having problems are using Galaxy. But I don't know if it's because everyone but me and few others don't use it, or if it's due to using Galaxy. Or maybe there is a correlation between choosing to use Galaxy and not being able to fix things yourself.

im surprised to see this on here, i hope more of microprose's old inventory makes it onto gog
New Microprose would be welcome too.
This release is actually a bit odd since it isn't any Microprose-related company releasing it, but rather Interplay...who bought the rights for some reason, presumably because they were cheap.
Not that I wouldn't welcome more MPS games, both new and old.
