I think these older licensed games are basically in limbo after the deals expired. Most of them from the 90's like Discworld games or the LoTR and Marvel games of the 2000's are basically abandonware now

Didn't check the list yet but my priorities are Heart of Darkness, Birthright Gorgons Alliance, Warlords 4 and Civil War Generals 2.

I also wouldn't mind Dune 2000 and Emperor Battle for Dune.

I recall reading an article about GOG which likened the job of restoring old games to being a detective. Polishing a game for modern systems is the final step in an arduous process of finding out who owns what and tracking down the source code to make alterations much easier. And if the source code still exists, it's probably sitting in the attic of some guy who once worked as a janitor for a 90s software company.

Its a shame River of Time got released at the peak of financial crisis, underperformed and killed the studio. Since devs really showed promise and growth and in a better timeline we might have gotten a more great RPGs.
