There are at least 2 upcoming notable games that I know of - Ananta (previously known as Project Mugen) and Neverness to Everness.

Ananta

Featuring cel-shaded anime-like aesthetics, with day and night cycles, the game is set in a mystic urban open world, where each city is populated with pedestrians and foes.[1] The game's first city, called Nova Inception Urbs is designed in a Japanese urban style. Other cities will become available later with European and American inspirations. The player can travel around the world between cities. Each city is procedurally generated by stitching multiple manually pre-designed areas, such as beaches, public or amusement parks, and factories.[4] The character can pick up cats, play mini-games, and interact with all objects in the city especially in combat.[5]
The player can swim in water or navigate the city by running, riding bikes or cars, climbing walls, doing parkour, grappling and swinging between skyscrapers using ropes similar to Spider-Man.[1] Traverse is fast-paced and requires no stamina. Some characters have unique traverse styles. For example, Taffy's hammer can turn into a bike she can ride.[4] The player can take on various quests and challenges to recover lost memories and unlock various abilities that can help progress in each character's story, culminating into a final plot involving battles against a villain.[1]

The player navigates and fights in the city as one character, but can switch between a team of four characters during major battle events and boss fights. Each character has unique stats and abilities which may synergize with teammates. The entire team can also equip an extra buff or major ability such crowd control or telekinesis.[4]

Neverness to Everness

Neverness to Everness is a 3D action role-playing game played with a 3rd-person view. The player controls different characters and collects items as they travel around in the open virtual world. The player character can run, jump, sprint, climb, swim, and can drive various vehicles to move around in the world. The character's special movements with the exception of sprinting are limited by a regenerating stamina bar that slowly depletes as they continue in that movement mode.[6][7] Each character has different skills, called Esper Abilities, which synergize with other characters.[5]

The game features vehicle customization and upgrading business.[8]

Whether this is going to be forgettable shit or something trending time will tell.

Chinese Devs are really pushing the limits of these gacha games lol, it all started with Genshin Impact

Personally I'm not that interested in the GTA ones, but the one with Factorio elements like Arknights Endfield

The question is are they finally foregoing lolitas? Driving is supposedly adults only?
