God damn it, why are so many people asking me for money? Not that I'm assertive enough to say no. Donated.

Cough it up, motherfuckers. You all wanted a Torment successor but instead paid for a shit dungeon hack, from a studio that has yet to make a single game with good combat. Now the real deal is up and you better pay it up and wipe the mark of the race traitor off.

*sigh* You're right. Donated.

MessiahMan, usually generous donator to causes like this here. I had an extensive ankle operation, and am making peanuts on disability while my wife goes out to make all the bread in this house. Normally, you'd have a shitload of generous money from me, not because I'm rolling in the stuff, but because gaming is a serious hobby for me, and this incline MUST be supported while it lasts, and silly Codex references in the incline will only make the incline that much sweeter. HOWEVER, monetarily, I'm battening down the hatches. Only necessities for the 6-8 weeks that I'm off of work. No kickstarters, no old game boxes from ebay, no old hardware, no donating to worthy Codex causes, nothing fun. Just bills, beans, oatmeal, brown rice, chicken, flax oil, and time. At least there's that to invest in my hobby, finally.

Just got back in and haven't had a chance to catch up yet. Have they actually decided on a combat system yet or is it still a "backers will decide after the campaign" sort of thing?

The latter.

Here's how the backers are trending at the moment:

It'll be interesting to see what happens when they do that.

Ok - pledged at the minimal tier for the KS just so that there will be an additional vote for a non-RT combat system and made a small donation for the Codex Drive. The game and presentation looks interesting, but I don't think I'll go for more with the combat system still up in the air.

You have donated absurd money to a game with a 100% sure RTwP system, but refuse to do so for one where there is an actual chance for TB? o_O

Yeah yeah, I'll donate something later when I can figure out how to distribute my life savings between this and the thousand other kickstarter projects I'm pledging to. I can promise a preliminary $50.

There's your fucking money. Went with $60 to match my PE donation.

Donated 40 bucks, but now the donation interface is throwing an exception when I try to enter it. What have you done DU? :rpgcodex:

WTF, now the donor list only has my name on it. o_O

You're probably the only one who's donated on DU's new fancy system. There were no boxes for the pledge amount and username on the Codex page an hour ago.
