By the way, after we're done with World's End, who wants to read Majestic's solo series (written by Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning)?

Yes. And personally, I think he writes better comics than books, not the least due to the fact he's got a co-writer.

EDIT: And in case you don't read the credits, the duo also wrote Authority: World's End up until Midnighter healed Apollo.

Jesus Christ. Do you need SV to give you a hummer before you post?

Because he will. You know, if you are into that.

Why is Zealot acting so completely OOC in this one? I mean I understand the going by herself thing, and the making humans defend themselves bit, bit the details of her plan reek of exactly the kind of stuff she was mad at Majestros about. Makes no sense.

Meh. Another good character ruined.

Also, next :M

Here, obviously
I agree with Sceptic. It makes perfect sense for her to want to make an army aside from the fact that the Wildcats (Zealot included) were flipping shit when Majestros did it himself.

All in all I like it. I thought the big bad fight was a little bit anti-climactic, but I like the somewhat soap-opera-y, multiple story thing that is going on. it is a little bit more insightful than the over-the-top Liberal agendas and the constant bitching that prevailed in the earlier issues.
