The dev took a look at Vampire Survivors and thought "But what if it was more like the early Ultima games?"

So it's not a game at all? Pass.
It's a TB roguelike focused entirely on character builds. Nothing to do with Vampire Survivors.
So they completely stripped the tactics from the gameplay and focused solely on buildmaking. Interesting approach

Achra absolutely deserves the attention. It's probably my GOTY. It is both beautifully simple yet engaging. The writing is also great, in a "Heavy Metal Magazine" kind of way.

Incidentally it is also completely free of the Taint of Infinitron.

meh, i tried this and was completely underwhelmed. i read all the descriptions and it feels like actually just a very low amount of builds is actually viable for later stages, and even the best might fail in front of a bad start.
