Found it. This is from Bloom's guide to Hobbit. He was just an editor but also wrote the introduction.

Funny. My favourite kinds of books are the ones with anime pictures that only a handful of people even know about that get forgotten five seconds after finishing!

I also think it's fun to read a book "actively" and try to figure out how the world works, what's going to happen next based on characters motivations, etc, etc rather than just passively and I find that good books often reward paying attention.

Fully agreed. And not only is it fun, but it's also a great learning tool. Even bad books can reward mindful reading—sometimes becoming more rewarding even than good books, in a certain way.

That said, I would have no particular beef with the woman's reputation or success, [...]

Yeah, that bothers me too. Certainly more than it should. Pratchett? Leiber? Moorcock? Nope: according to some there hadn't been a fantasy writer in the U.K. for decades.

I know at various points in their lives Moorcock and Christopher Lee envisionned, with enthusiasm, the possibility of the latter incarnating Elric on the big screen. But their plans didn't come to fruition, and as Lee became older and older, both men thought he would eventually embody not Elric but rather his patron Arioch, Lord of Chaos. But that didn't pan out either, and Lee eventually died. Imagine, had Lee played that role of Arioch after appearing in the LOTR movies, thus riding on the phenomal success thereof; it could have triggered a discovery or recollection of sorts in the mind of the british public, anent the wonderful fantasy writers they already had.
Reading bad books can certainly help give you confidence to write one.

This reminds me of those school "teachers" in the US who push trans education on small kids, promoting the typical LGBT degeneracy and all it entails.
What the fuck? Did Rowling actually get red-pilled on trans and LGBT and their real agenda?

Did JK Rowling said anything about this game?

Would be funny if she thanked personally the wokies for trying to ruin this game.

Also, I wanna an option to play as an gnome banker!!! And sell house elves

Did Rowling actually get red-pilled on trans and LGBT and their real agenda?

She agrees with 99% of progressist agenda, except that someone can change its gender 666 times per second and other nonsense. But she still supports gay ideology, environmental ideology, gun control, high taxes and so on; but disagreeing with one point of their religion is heresy and they would burn her at the stake if they could.

Can anyone explain to me the obviously insane chain of reasoning and pseudo-logic that led troons to claim the game supports trans-genocide? What the fuck triggered them so much about this game? Somehow I doubt Hogwarts is going to have gas chambers in the basement where you have to stuff troons in for exp.

Or did their persecution complex and other delusions simply grow proportionally with their butthurt that Rowling will make more money form this despite them trying to cancel her, to the point where they need to cry genocide and invent other libel in some last ditch attempt to cancel her?

Someone please explain to me how when people see goblins and think goblins=Jews, same people don't have the mindset as certain 1930s Germans?

They know there isn't enough evidence to support their cancelling Rowling, so they resort to extreme accusations to discourage people from further investigating the controversy, and to shame people who don't support ruining Rowling's reputation.

This is that CoD boycott steam group all again. Most of those people will buy HP and it's quite easy to play something without telling people you are playing it, more so when you care a lot about virtue signaling.
The game has Denuvo and apparently the best cracker right now, to crack games that have denuvo, seems to be some trans and I'm pretty sure it will take a ~long time~ until HP is cracked, so a lot of people will buy it if they want to play it as soon as possible.

Strap Yourselves In Serpent in the Staglands Shadorwun: Hong Kong Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag. Pathfinder: Wrath I'm very into cock and ball torture I helped put crap in Monomyth
I wasn't thinking on buying this game, but after seeing wokies butthurting over it, I decided to wishlist it.
Dude I find it hard to believe that you'd pass over a game with magic as its core interaction mechanic.
Also lol trans-genocide. Makes you wonder where all the troons are coming from if a genocide really happened.
