Why? Shouldn't having a well documented engine with its source available make modding easier rather than harder?

You need paid license of Unreal to actually meddle with the files as I understand.

Unity on the other hand can inject stuff through .dll which is why most Unity games are pretty moddable.

Yeah. It's typical mordern language in a game set in a medievalistic time period. It is not supposed to accurately reflect The Times at all, so complaining about "women speaking in brutish manner not fitting with the times" is weird.

Sure, it would be cool to have a slight dialogue stylization (akin to Vampire the Masquerade: Redemption), but let's not seek an agenda where there ain't one. I mean, I don't think the Turks can be accussed of being particular enthusiasts of political correctness. The story of a woman disguising herself as a man isn't in any way different from Eowyn.

It's low-brow, childish, and ruins a game, book or film for me just as easily as homosexuals or gratuitous negros. This didn't used to be a problem, both because vastly more (that is to say, any at all) effort was made and because language has fallen further in the last 30 years than in the last 200.

Nah it has been years now, more or less since the end of Harry Potter books that JK Rowling has been know as anti-trans and thus SJW has been seething against her and her works. Her next book after Harry Potter (under different name but everybody knows its her) is about some gender confused guy/girl (cant remember) being a serial killer. That was early to mid 2010s iirc.

But with trans agenda being very fucking loud the past 2 - 3 years, so has been the push against her works.

Note that Rowling has been pretty pro LGB before and was praised for it (even Twitter retconing lot of people to be gay) but just because she is against trans agenda and the whole gender identity shit, she is now literally Hitler in their eyes.
