I thought Saint himself gave up on posting news because he wanted to post news he personally found interesting, so the depressed people following him around to say that gaming is dead and nothing matters turned him off. Infinitron just has a newsposting fetish so this doesn't affect him.

Pathologic is hardly following some trend though (original version released in 2005). And it's less grimdark so much as oppressive and out to make you feel hated.

2002-2012 non-action rpgs regardless of quality: iwd2, nwn and expansions, toee, kotor, kotor 2, nwn2 and expansions, da origins, kotc, whatever crap vogel was doing. If you hated Bioware and Bioware-derivatives it was pretty much over.

2013-present non-action rpgs regardless of quality: shadowrun returns and standalone expansions, blackguards, might and magic x, divinity os, wasteland 2, pillars, underrail, aod, tyranny, nu-torment, divinity os 2, deadfire, kingmaker, bard's tale iv, atom, stygian, disco elysium (there's certainly no action), wasteland 3, troubleshooter, dungeons of nobbledygook, wrathfinder, solasta, black geyser, divinity gate 3, also the crap vogel keeps doing, possibly others

Saint P came back and started newsposting about shovelware. Infinitron thought he was trolling, but after finding out he wasn't, let it happen. He's gone now because he's just busy with life, same as he was before he popped in again.

She had been considering it for several days. I suggested she should do what felt right considering Mebs wasn't really enjoying the Codex anymore and was getting overly invested into these dramas.
