Violence, on the other hand, is usually depicted in a healthy way. It's shown as heroes stepping forth to rid the world of monsters and save the day. If we go with the idea that media influences human behaviour, this is actually behaviour that we want to promote and encourage.

Very cheesy, almost Carry On-like in some respects, and as a negative it's Wapanese so there's a young potential date in there FAR too young for us Westoids.

But the game mocks perversion with it's Carry On-esq approach, in fact you fail the romances if you get too pervy, and the romance aspect is very sweet actually too. You hold hands, stare at the stars together, and most romances end with that first proper kiss but it's also built up to be a big deal so feels significant, and thus captures that feeling of being a young teen where purity still envelops you to some degree. Despite pervy laughs, overall the game as a whole definitely sends the message that it's better to be honourable and build a relationship with 1 person than be sleezy...

Could be argued it's a bit too romanticized, but you can't help coming away from the game with a sense of positivity. It's actually a very underrated game, completely forgettable and piss-easy combat, but a lot of laughs and just a very uplifting experience.

I think romance/relationships in RPGs would be better if it was gamified, ie the closer two characters get together, the better they fight together in battles, they can do "combined abilities" etc. So there's an in-game incentive to go through the romance text.

It's good if the girl actually acts embarass or have a sense of shame in sex and all that, it's hot and traditional since it means sex is a holy mating ritual/not something to do every day.
