I want to have the best experience i can. And best in my mind equates to "streamlined". Meaning i don't want to install 3000 mods if i can help it. Is there already a integrated unofficial patch?

Something that joins all the script/exe essential alterations + mods that combat the terminal boredom that npc's in the game are in a non-molesting way to the lore?
(mods like this LGNPC i read about).

Anyway the Unofficial Patch that Ruprekt linked is an older version. Here's the new one. Or you can grab the even newer beta but I haven't tried it so can't vouch for it.

Definitely grab the Code Patch. Lots of fixes on there are absolutely required. It's also very modular so you can choose the fixes only without any of the more subjective tweaks.

I yelled for years that Morrowind was a piece of shit. Let me make that very clear. In every Morrowind thread, I insulted everyone systematically.

Now I just re-tried it after about 7 years. And I enjoy it.

I am a piece of shit class traitor. A faggot of the worst kind. Subhuman. And so on.

Of course I have gameplay mods and such. It needs to be rebalanced so that the progression is harder and more rewarding. With some careful tweaks, it pretty much plays like Gothic, which is cool. Exploration is risky, loot is scarce, dungeons can be scary, first person stealth mechanics, faction conflits... etc. I'm not sure how the game will hold up when I reach the upper tiers though.

Grab a huge mattock from one of those 7th house shrines.

The knockback is hilarious.

Grind speed/endurance/acrobatics.

Then do whatever you want.

You can pretty much just run/jump past most things in the game.

There's another tool (wrye something) but I could never get it to install. You have to have certain versions of python on your pc and whatever.

Wrye Mash. Great for repairing savegames if you fuck up during installing mods. Very easy to use.

I heard Morrowind Advanced adds more difficulty so it takes longer to achieve godlike state (also helps if you avoid shit like alchemy abuse and mudcrab merchant / Creeper). It apparently adds some weird creatures, the ones linked above look better.

Go to UESP and get the mod lists from there. They sometimes have alternate download locations that aren't TES Nexus (which I'm guessing is what you're talkign about).

Planet Elder Scrolls also has no stupid limit on which files you can download. Though unfortunately they don't have all the mods on TES Nexus (or maybe that should be fortunately...)
