Flagstone : Getae Legacy

Based on new archeology finds, and historical sources, we will add a fantasy twist.

Our motto: “We are designing a world, not a game”

A world where you will live among the Getae, and see colossal influence on all other cultures.

You will be able to master magic and travel in other dimensions.

This world will allow you to destroy the Getae or change history.

In a world where everything will be destructible.

The stories, items, quests, and creatures can generate infinitely.

The game world will feature real-world locations where you can see the ruined version of the in-game places.

Built with Unreal Engine 5.

It’s a fantasy game based on Getae history and their legends/myths. For now, here’s a little snippet of what’s to come

in a world where magic and #mythology meet #History .

In development by Gacriva Studio. The game will have Rogue-like, RPG, single-player, multiplayer, and voxel elements.

It will be available on PC, Xbox Series X, and PS5, and stay tuned for more updates.

ga3 Wow, wonderful, and how original. I only have two questions :
- will it be an open world with crafting ?
- can you share some early development screenshots so we can get a feel of the game ?

Thanks in advance !

We promise to show it as soon as it's ready because we don't want to ruin the hype with a prototype look.

Hello, so far this is not SciFi, it's been designed for a very long time. Since Doom and even before that destructible items were a common thing and the terrain has been destructible since the discovery of the marching cubes algorithm ( voxel) . Generated infinite worlds were done on a Pentium 2 processor and were avoided because of some trash collection. I jumped over the stories intentionally because as funny as it sounds a story generator was invented after the two mentioned above. Quests, generation is also an old thing like the stories. Creatures are a bit complicated but it was done in early 2000. Now on how we will implement that is fixing a bunch of problems that the previous ones had (and the rest is secret for now :) ) The fact that we are using Unreal Engine 5 is a hint and you can connect the dots and figure it out by yourself to a degree.
