Yes. Don't remember Indy using a flashlight in the old movies.

As Indiana Jones and the Great Circle™ heads for its December 9 launch, it’s also making its way onto the racetrack with Alpine in the upcoming race at Circuit of the Americas (COTA) in Austin, Texas.

Born from a shared love of globetrotting, this collaboration brings the adventurous spirit of one of the most iconic characters in film history to the high-octane world of Formula 1 racing. Leading up the event, a cargo truck hauling a mysterious crate made its way from Los Angeles to Austin via some of the United States’ most breath-taking locations, including the Hoover Dam, Las Vegas and the Bonneville Salt Flats.

Indiana Jones and The Great Circle Hands-On Previews Are Coming This Month

Insider Gaming has learned that Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will have hands-on previews at the end of this month.

As part of these previews, Microsoft and Bethesda are hosting several media events this week for content creators and the media worldwide.

One content creator has not-so-subtly hinted that he’s traveling to such an event to play Indiana Jones and the Great Circle at one of the events on social media. “Hopefully learning whip skills and wearing a cool leather jacket,” he said when asked what he was doing in San Francisco.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will launch on December 9, 2024, on the Xbox Series S|X and on PC. The game has also been announced for the PlayStation 5 in early 2025. According to rumours, the early 2025 release date is currently targeted for April, giving the Xbox platform and PC four months of exclusivity.

Indiana Jones creative director Axel Torvenius said in an interview earlier this year, “From MachineGames’ point of view, we are super thrilled and excited over the fact we will be able to be on PlayStation next year as well.”

I watched the IGN preview with the annoying voice kind of in the background and didn't hear any reason for it to be in first person and didn't see any reason glancing over intermittently (sometimes at Jones' awkward faces).

Looks too basic. The stealth is barebones, exploration and puzzling seem tacked-on. Methinks MachineGames is yet again restrained by this awful idTech that was tailored towards arena shooting gameplay, not large levels. Probably a pass for me.

"Indiana Jones and the Great Circle"
What a weak and ridiculous name. What's next ? "Indiana Jones and the Intriguing Mystery" ?

It looks like a game made specifically for game pass, which is also what Avowed looks like. Bare minimum just to make the subscription look appealing, like how Netflix churns out endless trash to make the list of available content longer.

Hey, look, it's Tony Todd. He died five days ago.
