I personally appreciate the attitude regarding this but unfortunately I think you're wrong. While Codex has always had a select few individuals who seemed to thrive on nothing but posting edgy content, most of the times it was contained to GD or they generally flamed out before long.

Now we've got an entirely new class of poster here who came here for one reason, who refuse to leave, and who are sort of... I guess... trying to start some sort of uprising here? Purge the JEWS from Codex? NIGGER is my right to say in any thread I want?

I am honestly completely fine with the main threads for mainstream games being a cesspool. One can always create a separate thread to discuss specific aspects of the game. The most interesting, intelectually stimulating discussions on Codex are seldom in the megathreads.

I understand this, but it’s a completely useless attempt because outside of this forum, EVERYONE knows that you can come here and only deal with shouting absurd, senseless slogans and pushing Goebbels-style propaganda. EVERYONE knows this. I've known RPGCodex for years, even though I’ve only been a member for a year, and everywhere it has always been said, repeated, and rehashed that this forum is just "a den of alt-right who want to exterminate Jews and blacks. Then, from time to time, someone also knows a lot about RPGs."
And this is due to the forum's extremely permissive politics. So, while I appreciate that the KCD2 thread was split because it was becoming unreadable, the fact remains that even the other half "legible" is still honey for any primatist, wannabe-Goebbels, and so on.

Then, just to be clear, it’s not that I’m naïve and don’t realize that the Forum IS this: a den of alt-right, even among the staff, some more, some less, some maybe. But splitting the forum isn’t going to attract new users interested in talking about RPGs.
I did it, I joined the forum because I knew I had the patience to filter massively and only take the 1% of those messages that are truly useful and from "RPG enthusiasts" compared to the 99% from Nazis who talk politics. But a thousand other users don’t do it and wouldn’t do it.

I've never been on Resetera in my life, not even by mistake, and on Reddit 90% of the time I'm part of communities for funny memes. Plus, here too, 99% of my posts are only about RPGs and their gameplay. I never talk about politics. I'm here to talk and read about RPGs, and 99% of the time I talk and read about RPGs and their GAMEPLAY. I don't give a damn how many people of color there are, whether women have a more or less important role, or whether there are pronouns or "body types" in character creation. I play a game if the gameplay/combat/story is good. I abandon it or don't play it if I find the gameplay/combat/story bad.

I think Veilguard is crap, just like all the Dragon Age games, which I’ve never even touched. But they're crap because THE GAME is crap, I don't care about the politics within it. And Avowed will be crap too because THE GAME is crap. But Baldur's Gate 3, on the other hand, is a GREAT game because IT’S a GREAT game.

And yes, I’m clearly left-wing. But, guess what, Dragon Age and Avowed disgust me even just to look at because they’re bad games. And the first KCD, which should "scare" me, is a game I want to play because I've always heard good things about its gameplay.
