Honestly, I don't see how anyone couldn't have seen this one coming.

I knew it was coming, I just didn't expect it so soon although Bishop's departure was a good indication.

It sucks that they were fired just two weeks before Christmas, by surprise, and on Puuk's birthday, too. What a nice birthday gift.

Yeah, that was entirely shitty.

What a blow.

Unlike most people, I don't generally get excited when new games are announced and view the hype (even when it comes in the form of fan forum speculation) very sceptically. I never expected Lionheart or ToEE to be anything but dull or flawed. I've seen hardly a glimmer of hope on the SP CRPG front for years and to some extent view the genre as dying off.

The only title that I've consistently pinned hopes on was Fallout 3. I knew it wasn't just around the corner, but somewhere in the back of my mind I always expected it to be made and had high hopes for it to be a great game. Now even that has gone. Bugger.
