Is the original Sacred any good?

Deus Ex isn't worth a reformat.

I don't remember the reason, but I think the problem was either incredibly garbled sound (DGNADDGADGASHSHSHSSHSS) or no video. I can't remember which but I remember that i couldn't get it to fix no matter what I tried from changing drivers to whatever.

hmm, what game is?

I recently got Temple of Elemental Evil so I've been playing that. The thing is you want to immediately enter combat just to see how great it is so I ended up attack the first person I saw which happened to be Elmo the town drunk. He slew my entire party.

Well, that should give you something to think about :D I've wasted a few hours of my life to read the book that came with my ToEE Collector's UberEdition and it all makes sense.

Hey I was playing one of those stupid-adbanner flash games, and I was wondering, are there any good sidescrollers? I remember really enjoying Duke Nukem Manhattan Project. Side-scrollers kick ass. Feel free to mention GBA ones, I've got an emulator, but I've already got all the mario and sonic and castlevania games for it.

Hey, does anyone here have ADD?

But yeah, TOEE is worth $8. Just make sure you patch it. Go to CO8 or Terra-Arcanum to find out the details.
Game Hippo is a crappy site, but they do have a lot of platformer type games, like Akuji and Eternal Daughter.

For fuck's sake yes, ToEE is worth hundreds of dollars. It's a brilliant D&D tactical combat simulator. I had months of fun just trying out various character/party builds and testing their combat pwnage effectiveness. Also, don't even bother playing without the Co8 patch. Vanilla ToEE is like a hot load of cum in your eyes. Sure, it's hot and arousing to get cum on your face, but you want it in your mouth so you can taste its delicious mix of protein and love, you don't want it stinging your eyes. The Co8 guides that hot semen right into your tongue.

$8 is okay for ToEE, I wouldn't go much higher than that though. I paid about $30 for it and I regret that. True, the combat gets you really excited at first, but the setting is horrible, and any attempts to replay it has failed. I suppose a buck per hour of game play is fair enough in this day and age, I just expected so much more. I might replay it in two or three years, when I've more or less completely forgotten what it's about and all those fan-made patches have even more stuff in them.

By the way, what about Baldur's Gate 2? Is that in the bargain bin yet? I've heard a lot of you say you like it a lot better than the crappy original (which I bought way back when it came out...oops)

If ToEE is like a hot stream of semen into your mouth, then BG2 is getting ass-fucked by a hair man-ape then being forced to suck his shit-encrusted dick.

You might want to try playing Arcanum, if you haven't. Everything about the game is perfect except the absolutely broken combat system, and the level-ups. It's like shooting your hot load into a virile man's puckered brown anus, but then having to insert a straw into his brown-eye and sucking up all the semen.

Sacred sucks worse than getting a blowjob from a garbage disposal. If you're that desperate to torture yourself, chew your own arm off instead. It's must less painless and stupid.

Pure action means it's not a fucking RPG. That shit needs to die and get the name RPG out of its fucking title.

God damn bullshit fucking shitty fake wannabe rpgs.

I'm not necessarily looking for an RPG. Just a game to play that is about 10 to 20 bucks and is fairly replayable. I haven't been buying games that much for a long time so there's bound to be quite a few good games that have been out long enough to be in the bargain bin.

You'd get more enjoyment out of cutting off your penis with a rusty spoon. Or did I say chew off your arm? Whatever, do both. It's better than Sacred.

Fuck, just take the money and buy some porn. A good video will last you longer than fucking sacred. This is also replayable, while chewing off your arm is a one-time thing (the penis thing may be replayable if you're a lizard).

It's in the bargain bin, at least in Poland. But if you think the first one was crap, I don't recommend the sequel. I think I had more fun with the first game (+ expansion).
Divine Divinity is quite an enjoyable h&s game (you have to endure through the first dungeon, though). I think it has quite a lot of nice places & quests for a game not marketed as a "hardcore" RPG. Unfortunately, it gets tedious after a while, but it's still worth 10 bucks imo. I prefer it to Sacred.
The music is good too, although I generally have bad taste in this area.

Damn KC looks like you've made yourself a little Puerto Rican buddy. Beginning to understand his choice of a bear for his avatar now.
