My younger sister has finished that god-attrocious game you are referring to more times than I did

Pics or it didn't happen.

Welcome to the Binary Domain, bro. It's either shit or not shit. :smug: Nothing else matters.

What about banal, and/or boring?

Well that didn't turn out quite like I had planned. I was going for Lyric Suite/Skyway/HHR/Shreek/VD combo, but I guess I lack the skill and knowledge to pull it off. It's hard to find the right ratio of troll bait and word count. You don't want wall of text with nuanced trolling because no one would read it, but on the other hand you risk going full retard stating things too bluntly. I guess that's where the true skill lies.

Still, we can see how different people handle trolling and that there actually is some use of frequenting GD.

Notice how Clockwork Knight masterfully shrugged off my posts, fired off a couple of quick jabs and left the "discussion", realizing that the only winning move is not to play. I guess "sergeant" Meltdown does train you well.

On the other hand, you have noble knight Mrowak, charging head on to confront a man calling him a pedophile for playing a game, with logic and reason. And to top it off, he brings up his younger sister playing Rance?! WTF bro?! What were you thinking? We were 3 posts from discussing your sexual fantasies about your pre-teen sister (and you denying it, of course), had the exchange continued.

Now, seriously, stop reviewing jRPGs and posting it on the front page. It makes baby Jesus cry.

This is the kind of shit that has been killing jrpg for the last few years.

I'd even take Gust moeshit over this.

I hope we'll get more JRPG reviews in the future, if they all result in funny threads like this!
Also, more PnP stuff too, plz.

Bullshit, my inner simulationfag finds the JRPG sub-genre repulsive. It's not just the animu, I enjoy shit like Dr Slump, ffs.

Fucking sad.

It would be a reason to be sad, except for the fact that the Codex has always preferred to bitterly rage about something they don't like than to calmly discuss things they do. It's not like people are discussing this puerile* game, just complaining about why it shouldn't be here, alongside some monocle discussion about the aesthetic and cultural weaknesses of anime.

This is why the Codex is good.

* Just trying to contribute to the discussion

To Merutudon-sensei, earthly temptations like lust and curiosity are meaningless. That's why he's constantly crushing those feelings in the hearts of fellow men, with pictures, videos, stories and any other means available.

Bah, technicality, I'm going to write it anyway and keep spamming you/DU/VentilatorofDoom/...Vault Dweller?/Brian Mitsoda?/Chris Avellone? (who do I spam about this?)

DU is the one who can technically allow such a thing, but I dunno, I don't think the Codex ever did a non-PC RPG review. Regardless, it might be worth checking with him about it before you write it.

I dig this game. There are some annoyances but the combat is very satisfying. It reminds me a little of Odin Sphere. I like how enemies punish you for reckless moves and force you to use varied attacks with proper timing.

Also, I just noticed I unlocked Extreme difficulty level. OH YES. THEY KNOW WHAT TURNS ME ON.
