I think the only similarity to Morrowind that Bloodlines had is the first person thing. Bloodlines used dialogue trees, Morrowind used that browser dialogue crap. Bloodlines was more range focused with the gun stuff whereas Morrowind was more melee based and Bloodlines knew enough to swap to third person for melee which Morrowind never figured out. Bloodlines had locked areas which you advanced to rather than having the open world, which is a plus in Morrowind's column honestly. Bloodlines had multifacited, multisegmented quests designed for multiple avenues of approach versus the linear kill rats, return, find flowers, return crap Morrowind had.
