Jetpack 2 has relaunched its campaign:
Attention Jetpack 2 Fans!
It seems clear at this point that this project will not reach its goal. But with your support, the project WILL continue!

* The new project will succeed, because the goal is lower. I will be scaling back some of the goals for new artwork, BUT I did get some great offers for assistance with art thanks to the Kickstarter campaign.

* The new project will be digital-only, because the cost of printing boxes & mailing is too big on a small run.

* There are some cool new reward ideas, like designing an enemy in the game!

My heart is with the jetpack dude but man with games like cortex command and soldat having jetpacks just as basic features and the SHITLOAD of platform puzzle games out by now he really doesn't have the wow factor going here for non-fans

should have dropped it to $10 for the base game

the style is hideous though, and I don't say that because of the low fidelity
the writing should be a tim schafer-lite kinda good at least

I also note with displeasure that their $37 tier with an exclusive item for KoL has way more backers than their vanilla $11 option

The guy behind Pennygems is working on a new set. I thought it was gimmicky back when I first saw the original Pennygems KS, but I'll be running a VtM V20 session for some of my younger cousins, and thinking about it, these seem like good alternatives to minis and glass gems (which I'm not a fan of). The Auxiliary set is probably the best IMO. It's got enough colour and pattern differentiation to distinguish players from one another, as well as NPCs (and if you include those from Pennygems I, there are enough to allocate one unique pattern per clan)

That's pretty shiny actually. If I hadn't already made my own manufactorng process for custom counters I'd splurge on that. I might still copy the idea actually. The 1DKR coin and the 50øre both have pretty good dimensions for counters.

Rapid Assault, the online shooter with tanks failed its goal, Super Retro Squad, platformer with clones of famous games characters reached its goal instead.
