Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's exactly what it is. It's probably a repurposed and rebalanced Hardcore mod that turned out to be more hassle than fun.

Tournament and Combat Academy are equally cryptic.

Really nice video.
So much work and reasearch has gone into making KCD, and we don't even think before bitching about the trivial issues to realize just how much love and dedication has gone into making a game.
Modern developers should learn from Vavra about to make a great video game. Hats off to him; an absolute genius. I always admired his approach and the attention to every little detail. That's one of the things that I loved about Mafia 1. Seriously, he should make more video games. I hope to see Warhorse studio supporting more developers that are as brilliant as Dan Vavra.
