So why don't you do it ?Somebody should try, just try, to create a brand new world.

Seven years seems like a long time, but is it really? Sequels used to take only two years to develop, but games today are far too complex. Back then, they didn’t have such detailed 3D models, fully rendered realistic armors and animations, or immersive sound effects that change depending on the material you walk on. Now, we even have features like a dog that can drink from a puddle of water, and a day-night cycle with NPC routines—a technology that was almost lost. KC1 is incredibly detailed, with realistic towns and wilderness. So maybe that’s the time needed to achieve this level of quality. The fact that almost no one else is doing the same, let alone in a shorter time frame—Witcher 4 is also taking its time—is telling. All I see are gacha-esthetic style action games and, at best, uninspired Skyrim clones like Avowed.Over seven years for a "more of the same" sequel. Not that more of the same is unwelcome, but geez. Remember when these things could happen in a year or two?

I believe it shouldn't take an entire console hardware life cycle to make a same-engine sequel.Seven years seems like a long time, but is it really?
Hey, friend. I think you got the forum address wrong, you definitely meant to check out https://rpgwatch.com/forum/Is this a KCD mod or a new game, I cannot tell?
This gonna flop greatly. Which is good cause I got sick of those medieval games where you spend 180 seconds just to change your armor. Fuck it.
