Voss hits it pretty much right on. That's the first thing I thought when I encountered Bastila - this gal's a bitch. She is growing on me now as she seems to calm down a bit.

And, like Otaku says, force jump, for those who have it, would be much useful later on. The planet i'm on now is open grasslands. A much different setting then the first planet.

As for the big plot twist, I'ma fraid it's useless for me since I was spoiled months ago due to spoiler fools... :o

Ummm.

I'd have to say, in all honesty, that KOTOR is a much deeper game than BG/BG2/IWD/IWD2 and NWN - but not PST or the Fallout games. Yes, it's true - it isn't a shallow consolesque (e.g. Final Fantasy) sort of game and the good/evil system does actually work a lot better than it did in NWN, allowing you to, more or less, 'join the dark side' after quite awhile of trying to be a good guy because certain decisions that you have to make in the game may encourage you to do so from your own point of view of the subject.

Remember that just because George Lucas came up with the whole idea of light and dark doesn't make them necessarily 'good' vs 'evil' in your own terms. Just play how you like.

I never understood what it is about most gamers who adhere to the role of 'good' and complain that 'good sucks' even when they're given the freedom to play good or evil.
