I'm not sure exactly where this South Park: The Stick of Truth video came from and why it's located on some random dude's YouTube channel, but it seems legit, so I'm posting it here:

As you can see, the video mainly features South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker, but a few lesser-known Obsidian personnel also make an appearance (dat beard!). Matt & Trey seem to know their shit, though - I appreciate their position on voiced vs silent protagonists.

Does this game have companions or romance?

If not, then I don't want to buy it. Companions and romance are what makes an RPG an RPG and not an Action-Adventure game.

:troll:

In seriousness I have a hard time believing this wasn't made for public consumption. Unless developers/publishers speak to other each in the same marketing BS they feed to consumers.

Apparently its from comic con last year according to a kotaku commentor.

Screw conference exclusive content updates. Do they really expect me to drag my ass out of my chair and go all the way to San Diego just to see a video clip of Trey Parker and Matt Stone?

Foreword: I'm gonna comment on the beard, not on the videogame.

...

Wow, another neck beard out of control.

It's like it starts growing from below his jawline; he doesn't have a proper mustache, and he doesn't have beard on his cheeks.
Plus, it doesn't match his hair or his face.

Beards can be pretty awesome, when they form a part of a general cool appearance, or they can look downright ridiculous, like they are glued on.

Matt does this more or less for fun. He also entered/enters beard competitions. I think he won some too.

Ras' beard at least has a moustache (personally I don't get the long beard no mustache thing), and he has a face to match it.

And this Matt doesn't have the beard of that photo in the video.

Anyway, I'm totally going off topic raging here.

Edit: Beards are not for fun, THEY ARE A WAY OF LIFE.

Hm. Might need to have a Codex beard off.

I both love and hate South park for making fun of everything and being unpredictable. Unfortunately, it makes it unwatchable (unplayable in case of the game) for me because of stuff like
this anal probe scene from the end of the linked movie.

At least with the series I had a friend who would watch all episodes and then re-watch them with me, skipping those he knew I wouldn't like. With the game it won't work.
