BROTHERS!! DO YOU KNOW WHAT'S MISSING FROM THE CONSTANTLY INCREASING WH40K GAME LIBRARY? THAT'S RIGHT! MORE GAMES ABOUT SPACE MARINES!! BATTLE-BROTHERS, REJOICE YOURSELVES:

Legacy of Dorn: Herald of Oblivion
A vast choice-based digital gamebook set within the Warhammer 40,000 universe where you are a Space Marine!

Thankfully, you don't play as an Ultrasmurf nor a Bloody Magpie, but as a noble and badass Iron Fist Battle-Bro. No idea if the game is good or not yet, it's still quite new. It seems to be a CYOA adventure gamebook, with a bit of combat rolled in. The achievements seem to imply there are multiple endings, and, of course, lots of ways of dying horribly over and over.
No matter what, it can't be worse than Choice of Games' enforced PC policy and "always bisexual" characters.

Holy crap. We need a Warhammer prefix in Adventure Gaming too?

Actually, this seems to have some RPG elements.

There are actual CYOA books from Black Library IIRC. So the idea is not that far fetched.

The game is being sold with a 50% discount right now. I took the opportunity to try it.
Initial thoughts: the interface is quite clunky and it takes a while to know how to interact with the gamebook (plus it doesn't support hotkeys, if any). There are 3 difficulty levels, each one giving you slightly different stats and such (including limited save points). Combat gets boring fast, thanks to the repetitive music and your weapons' baffling lack of power (a freaking power fist has trouble killing little goblins gretchins, really?). There are also countless chances in which you may suffer damage or even suffer instant death by virtue of rolling badly.

Overall I say it can be okay for a playthrough or two. I haven't been able to finish it yet, so your opinions may vary.
