Also fuck you deama. Don't roll your eyes at me ya worthless faggot. I'll beat your ass.

Bro, the gameplay is shit and doesn't matter how many bears you shove up your ass, it's still shit.

To be fair, you don't play the Legacy of Kain games for the gameplay.

LoK gameplay is there mainly to help you get into the feel of Kain and him reveling in his powers as he wanders around tearing people apart with multitude of OP powers.

The spells and cards on their own would have been enough, but they threw in both. There is far more than enough needed, but that's not the point.

Everyone's told to find the PSX rom and play it emulated even with the godawful load times it has for a reason.

That camera issue is exclusive to the original PS release. The PC version fixed that - and the GOG rerelease fixed the loading issues, too. If you're not playing the GOG version of Blood Omen, you're doing it wrong.

Similar things can be said of all LoK games (and let's not get into Soul Reaver's stupid block puzzles). Every single LoK game is largely aping the gameplay systems of other games that do it better - so if you just want to press buttons, go with those. You play LoK for the story, the lore, the immaculate atmosphere, the excellent dialogue and, as you said, the feel of controlling the series' fascinanting protagonists. The gameplay is just the interface you use to interact with all those elements.
