Ok, I'm back! And here's the next session:
We take a few steps forward and run into someone.
That's right - the dwarf on the other side of the mountains did tell us to keep an eye out for his brother.
Sounds like we'll have to deal with some wyverns out here. Hope they just melee and don't shoot fireballs.
Sounds like they're not native?
I don't remember seeing them out in the northlands... And I didn't get the sense that Gorath had any... kits.
Seems like they're everywhere these days.
Hmmm, maybe we'll have to try to find this Prince Calin after we check out the town. Sounds like he'd be North of us.
Lets get some more details on the Prince in question.
Oh right, we are actually looking for Tomas.
Hmmm? I thought that Valheru armor the guy wears made him all but immortal? I mean... the guy is human - how else would Elves let him marry their queen and become their Warleader?
Ok, Sounds like Prince is to the Northeast.
Would be quite the change if not - think Feist would blow an aneurism - Tomas is a pretty central character in his books. No game with a license is allowed to kill him off.
Yeah, that does sound strange. Maybe there's something else to explain Tomas's vulnerability?
I do like roads without constant trash fights...
Not sure how the game would simulate those...
Spellweavers are such a cool title.
Other than the fact that it does not show up on the map...
I wonder why the moredhel are using wyverns instead of all their usual menagerie... Goblin mercs, Hill Giants, etc.
Dwarves chasing wyverns through the forests on Elves' behalf?
Hmmm, that sounds like it might be an issue. We don't have knowledge of Elven spell minefields in these forests.
Caldara is the town we saw when we came out of the mine.
Thats... not what I expected Owyn to ask regarding the topic of Caldara...
I'm not even sure if armor helps with wyverns, but whatever.
Oh, that's always a good deal.
Count the gold presumably.
The dwarf does look like he knows his Armorcraft. His breastplate is shiny!
Owyn sounds like he's trying to impress McCannur with what he already knows.
That does sound like the quickest armor repair I've heard of.
A good lesson for everyone.
I love training sessions.
Gorath can run a smithy at this point.
We start checking out the houses.
A double dragon? Sounds like two people rolled the highest denomination and the way to break the tie is to yell Klapka. Funny how no one told Owyn until this happened.
Hehe, this is starting to be funny.
Yes, I want to see where this is going.
Sounds like the Dragon beats the vookas, whatever those are.
Hehe, I wish gambling sessions would be this amusing for the newcomers.
So seems like this is a Dwarven town. I guess I expected elves, but a town close to a mine... makes sense too I guess.
Yeah, we've beaten Barak Nurr's, now its time to kick some baby dragon butt!
As we keep walking through the town - Gorath gets indigestion.
Ugh dude, just pass wind and keep going. No need to explain it...
Ok, WHERE is the game going with this?
Maybe the sleeping glades can affect Gorath already?
Yes, please elaborate.
Oh snap, what is this talk? This is getting quite dramatic.
The conversation ends as abruptly as it started, so we keep exploring the town.
No space for petty gems anymore.
Hmmmm, I too let randoms walk into my house while I'm in bed.
Ouch! Sounds like dwarves heal quite quickly though.
Last building in the town is a store!
We sell our gems and see... Grey Tower Plate! Didn't the kobolds in the mines need a set?
We buy it and go back to the kobolds.
Hmmmm, wasn't sure what to expect. Still not sure what this gave us.
Whoa! Looks like +5 max heath and +5 max stamina for those.
Yup! Gorath is even more of a tank now.
We'll start looking for that Prince Calin next session.
