Awesome! Sorry to hear about you getting a pile of work to deal with, grot, hopefully you had a nice vacation at least.

Cheers; it was...rainy. And Cornish food validates every single stereotype about English cooking. I think this is why we always go abroad and hassle the Spanish instead. Countryside's great, though.

Why do you guys care if it looks like an accident or not? The kine won't be able to form any kind of motive that leads to Joan in any way.

Because a woman being murdered for no apparent motive (i.e. botched robbery, accident) sends off alarm bells to curious people. Not necessarily cops, but maybe to any Hunters searching for vampiric activity. We've got enough shit on our plate without Hunters to deal with.

Then those kids grow up without a mother.

A strange time for me to be sentimental but E. You don't do this shit to innocent mothers and kids.

If Osazema finds out we haven't done the deed, one word to the Chantry about our involvement and we're fucked. Let me put things in perspective:

Joan is plotting to escape a highly paranoid organization led by monstrous ancients that lusted after immortality... in order to join an organization that sees humans as cattle and has no qualms with mass slaughter. Holy fuck, guys - we just got done playing as a guy who framed an innocent man for the rape and murder of a little girl, and now bros are getting misty-eyed over some woman who knows too much? Get a grip here.

Osazema wants the woman "gone". The best way to make someone "gone" is by killing them. I'm uneasy about killing the kids, but she's got to go, man.

@ Azael: I don't like the idea of popping a gun off in an apartment building, but I also want to avoid taking the kids out if it can be avoided. However, if the options are letting her live vs killing everybody, then they all die. We've got Dominate - we may not be the manipulator that Tony is (if we were playing as him, E might make sense), but it's a great tool in our arsenal to lure her into a secluded area.

Here, obviously
Sorry to hear about your workload. Hope it isn't too bad.

I say B.

I would like to try to get away without killing the woman, but we have worked ourselves into a tight predicament and need to tread cautiously and follow orders.

I daresay it'd only ever conceivably link to vampires if the victim was lacking blood or was taken out using supernatural means. A bullet to the back of the head might seem suspicious, but it wouldn't lead to vampires unless there is something else that ties her in with the supernatural.

All I know is that we better be careful, if this woman is just an ordinary kine, why does Orsazema wants her gone?

He said that she threatens the masquerade, but didn't say why...

I know it's being a shitty fucking tease, but I've been at a club in Brick Lane all night where they had the lady who comes around with Jaegarbombs strapped around her belt and I'm no longer in a state to help myself, so: Osazema hints at something in that last update that, with a little judicious London Googling, makes it clear why he might want her gone. If you're interested in learning that. It doesn't really make a difference.

Ooooh nice. First we are a bitch for Eames, then we are a bitch for Dubrik, and now we are a bitch for Orsazema. What next? Public cum toilet?

You really don't give a shit about playing the character we've chosen, do you?

Joan is at the bottom of the fucking pyramid and she wants to tear it down brick by brick. She thinks she can do this by joining the Sabbat, who, given their current situation, don't give a shit about her and would just as quickly kill her. Osazema is obviously a neutral samedi with connections, like Karthik, only probably more powerful and less of a pussy, a samedi who we're taking some magical device from to eavesdrop on our Regent who would probably gladly turn us into the Pyramid if he thought it was worth his time.

What the fuck is wrong with you?

Sommers was already the Patrician. He had clout. Joan has fuck all to work with. No allies. No phone-a-friend contacts. No cane-with-a-concealed-sword. Nothing. All she has is a position so low on the foodchain that almost no one will give a shit about her if she just follows orders and doesn't piss anyone off until she absolutely has to.

Anyway, fuck.

As for my vote, I haven't been able to give a shit about voting lately, but for this one, I say go with A or B. Fuck C and fuck D. We need to get rid of her quickly and effectively, with as few fingers pointing back to us as possible. Fuck letting her go. We don't need to piss of a Samedi who we're asking for a magical listening device to spy on our fucking regent. Just take care of this bitch and move on.

If D is the next best option then I'll swing to D, because who gives a shit about collateral damage? Not Joan. She hates humanity and she wants to get her own back.

Are you so drunk with tetosterone that violent force is your only option? Get real, pal!

Joan is a female Kindred. No indication show that she got combat skills. Hell, she's barely better than normal Kine, at that. The gun? What a laugh. She has no training, more than likely she will fumble that first-time-ever-touch-it gun. Direct action is out. O.U.T. You want going in gun blazing you should have chosen others, not a Sabbat spy in a Tremere chantry.

Second, she's a spy, not direct action specialist. Her main occupation will be gathering info, not running around doing dirty deeds for strangers which drawing undue attentions from Kindred and Kines alike. She need to do this event, true, but that doesnt mean she has to draw notices from a messy killing. Out of all options convincing the gal to leave London is the best there is in term of pumping her for informations.

A is tricky since Joan doesnt seem to know how to use gun. Amateur robbery? Easy to fumble the business.

D and C is very tricky in term of humanity-loss. Massacre usually sucks. Also see A.

B is even trickier: Joan is just not dominating or charismatic to lure a mother out to the park at night, leaving her children at home.

Only E allow Joan getting some info of what's going on.

Who gives a shit about humanity? Joan wants to join the Sabbat. She'll make a great Tremere antitribu if she goes around trying to save every fucker an Archbishop wants to add to his warghoul.

Most armed robbers have no training with weapons and often they seem to kill people just fine. All she has to do is fucking point and shoot. She's not using a sniper rifle from 3kms away with gale-force winds and fog.

The point is that Joan is a spy. Osazema can fuck her up the ass with what he knows so far. A tremere neonate asks for a magical bug to take back to the chantry? Who might like to know about that... her Regent perhaps? Or maybe he just blackmails her for inside information on the Tremere too? We have to keep everyone happy until Joan can get the fuck out and not be staked by a Sabbat fledgling for looking funny.

Do you mind saying why. yuri - as in, whether the story's not exciting you at the moment, or if it's the choices that don't seem meaningful? Just so I can get a sense of where there might be a problem and try to work on it. I don't think I've managed to make Joan as interesting as Anthony so far, but I'm working on that.

Look, he want a wet-behind-the-ears kindred do his dirty work means either he cant afford to show his hands in this matter or he set us up for a botched job (which will embarash Tremere and Camarilla). That's not the situation he can afford to blackmail a low-totem tremere. He stand to lose much more than us should this situation come out and damaging his street cred.

And doing an amateur robbery in order to cover a killing? Really? Why not just blow your brain out?
- The whole town is in high alert over the War, and Sabbat retaliations in hotel. This killing will draw polices and Kindred attentions faster than you can say "Sucker!" Just great! Just fucking great!

I'll fucking cut you bro. I will fucking cut you.

The Sabbat hotel massacre and mass embrace will have the police tied up for months. Do you think they'll give a shit about someone getting shot during a robbery when they've got massacres on their hands?

The Met only has so many resources, they can't solve every murder in London right now with big cases like that. Using an armed robbery as cover is a much better idea than sending a masquerade breaker out into the fucking wilderness. If she leaves London and breaks the Masquerade then we don't know what the consequences will be.

Dead men tell no tales about what goes bump in the night.

Whatever we do, we have to kill her, kill her kids, her dog, her cat, kill her fucking grandmother if we have to. Kill everyone. Then diablerise Earnes and Dubrik and Hob.

It's about time someone in this thread had a frenzy.

That's not a good way to play the jihad though.

First thing i would wonder is why the Samedi can't kill her himself - since brujah and other common as dirt vampires are 10 times stronger than humans, making it look like a accidental death should be easy.

Seems like we're being played into antagonizing someone for some additional blackmail material.

If we can't use a gun, then use your heads. Joan plays the vulnerable female well. She has been raped in the past as a human, so we have gleaned from grotsnik.

We go to the house claiming we've been assaulted or some bullshit. We infiltrate with a lie and then once inside we rip her spine out of her asshole and shove it down her dog's throat.

Making it look like an accident would work too, but only if Joan is clever enough to do so. If not, just kill her and make tracks. The Met can clean up the mess and try to find a culprit later.

Ffs people, you guys are acting like she's going to be prepared for us. A kine with a gun - big fucking deal. A kine points a gun at you, you Dominate them into putting it down. This isn't rocket science. I'm very tempted to brutally murder the entire family because laclongquan will be very butthurt. A, B, or C are okay as well.

So on that note, D.

EDIT: Alright, Excidium makes sense. B it is.

Hell yeah, vote D and go ahead massacring children, drop all your humanity before you even join the Sabbat, maybe Dubrik gets you a spot in a shovelhead pack.

Yep. I'll toss my hat into the B ring too, then.

I want some action, god damnit.

Can we at least diablerise her dog? (Or embrace her dog?)

I think the cops and those yardie are onto that fucker. He just killed one of them outright in his pub, remember? So it's possible this apartment is either a partner's house of that dead Kine, or his family's house. And there's going to be cops on this matter soon, what with a missing yardie. So if we get ourself exposed, a matter of that fucker set us up, we will take the blame of both killings, and letting him free and clear.

Scare her off and out of town will lessen the impact, yo.

But it looks like somebody will vote for actshun just to spite me. Now who are butthurted here?
