Limitations for new users

I found this forum not long ago and besides being new here I am also new to using Xenforo and I would like to know if there are more limitations for new users than those set in the rules that say that our posts have to be approved first and that to be able to speak in political discussions and the general thread, you have to spend 12 months here.

After that, I think they do not specify anything else, but I notice that I can't use the searches unless it is the search by tags. So, I wanted to know if that is a limitation for being a new user or if they just don't work. And if it is a limitation, I would like to know if there are more like those that are not listed, please.
