Likewise, those who don't really care will buy the gane no matter what. They're a moot issue because you don't have to earn their sales.

my brother, a pityful console games that never played THE GREAT FALLOUT 1, said: "it's fallout 3, that doesn not mean the game has to be turn-based or isometric".

for a second i thought: "hey, he could be right... i liked ultima underworld 2 and that was a good FP crpg"

then i came back to the reality and said whattahell, i want fo3 isometric.

i presume you guys remember the old 8 bit nintendo platform games such as super mario 3, rockman, duck tales or chip and dale and can remember that games were simple and funny.

now all "they" want to give us is FP 3D games. and they keep sayting that this is the future. this is better. this is right. this is the only direction.

fuck them.

i don't wanna be threated as brahmin. i don't want they making me swallow games that are always more shallow and use good graphics as a disguise for poor games and lack of creativity.

when everybody wants to say that there is only one way to move, in this case FP, well... it's time to ask yourseflf if you wanna eat shit or you are clever enough to understand that YOU CAN FUCKING DECIDE WHAT GAMES YOU WANT.

that's why they hate fallout fans. that's probably why i'm here.

That's actually the first thing I thought when I saw the quote on IGN, but not in a good way. So, Fallout 3 is going to be Fallout Underworld? was my initial reaction. At least with the UW series, they made them spin offs because the gameplay was totally different from the original games.

Avin, you've just said *exactly* what I've been trying to say. Why does everyone think first-person is the pinnacle of achievement and that any game that isn't first-person obviously hasn't reached its full potential?

Just because a game isn't first-person doesn't mean it's outdated or behind the times or not revolutionary, it's just different. It also allows for a style of play that myself and a lot of gamers here enjoy and don't get enough of with current releases.
