I'll add a conditional.

B > A

Also:

Barring any unforeseen setbacks, we should be returning to the old update schedule by December, or January at the latest.

Meeting Rance would invariably result in Erdrick being cut down to little pieces, in order to leech off his xp and have nearly all of his female companions "tastefully assaulted". Instead, with our luck I believe we'll end up meeting a distant offspring of Luka, the MGQ series' protagonist, or even the Champion, from that Flash game (you know which one). Hopefully we'll get the chance to Gygadine either one on the spot if that happens.

We sort of are Rance. An impotent Rance - in other words, if we don't get this thing fixed soon, Erd's suicide may be inevitable.

This is obviously a GM safety measure to ensure we won't make a move on Aria until she is 18. 'cause site rules.:M

Speaking of Aria, I am saddened by the 'Dexian lack of trust in the girl. She might make a better second-in-command than Rin. Probably less durable, though, and more succeptible to aging, unless Zayan thinks of something under our guidance.

I want my elite twin henchmen, goddammit!

I'll go for A, stealthy approach. Codex will probably go for C. That might work too but on a whole different level. :M

But Nevill, it is fine for Aria if 14 is considered old enough to marry, no? Just kidding, Erd is fine to wait, he has several options available already:

There is Rin, who is older and whose assets are considered "S-rating" according to Erd himself, for not to mention she has an actual wingspan which can be manipulated to a limited degree and, lastly but not least, her oath can be used to eventually justify giving Mercant a heir (once her affection rating is maxed out, of course). Then there is Zayan, who is already willing to sleep with him for SCIENCE!
After that there's Mieren, who may be willing to assist us once she has been restored to life. Lastly, there's Lucy, who is probably a human princess cursed with a transformation spell.

You also can count Ellen from Ontoglia, who may probably be glad enough to spend some time within our HQ in exchange of restoring her sight.

In any case, none of this will matter until we solve Erd's latest ailment, but it's the thought what counts. For this reason I am surprised that C has not received more votes, knowing the Codex.:M

Nevertheless, Aria is not to be underestimated, if only because she's not desperate to prove herself and also because she knows how basic human anatomy works, unlike others.

Finally, by the time her aging is an issue, hopefully our Overlord will have more pressing issues, such as an Evil Empire to rule over, and one or two or even thirteen heirs competing against each other to gain his attention.

That would be Barzamite commander. Or Lucy. :M

Erdrick only commented on the stalking difficulty rating. Which is why I want that skill tree leveled up ASAP!

Nevertheless, Aria is not to be underestimated anyway, if only because she's not desperate to prove herself and because she knows about basic human anathomy, unlike others.
I have this idea of turning her into our harem recruiter. She is so eager to please that she probably doesn't understand why would anyone have any reservations about it.

Of course, then Rin would accidentally kill all our dates. :negative:

I am all for keeping our demon princess grounded unless she redeems herself by bringing us Wisteria replacement! What a waste of a fine woman it was! :rpgcodex:

Hopefully Aria still has enough energy to cast magical ice attacks and/or save the slime from the rookies and viceversa. Otherwise, she's risking the very real possibility of accidentally causing the slime to switch targets and assault her instead (or worse, attract even more slimes).

However, I would like to believe that neither Erd nor Lucy would merely stand back and passively watch if that happened. Right?

EDIT: Just to know: Can we have at some point a brief description of how does the regeneration machine looks like? Is it like the standard " large sci-fi tube"? Does it resemble an elaborate sarcophagus instead? Or is that device similar to a giant crystal surrounded by floating tiny replicas of itself? I would like to have a mental image of the thing itself.

I imagine it is a quite large, unfailingly rigid tube, flaring slightly toward the top before tapering to a rounded point. At the base are two spherical repositories containing the necessary alchemical or magical reagents. Once inside the user is bathed in a highly potent regenerative substance that vaguely resembles viscous milk.

So, what happened treave? Did Legion kidnap you?
This should explain everything. Sorry Karwelas.

Ok, anyway, update is there, by the way.

As long as you don't create another CYOA you are safe. I however still must eliminate Treave, he steal people that could vote in MY CYOA! I will be only storyteller on Codex, mahahaha!
That some Yandere stuff right there.

Hey, guys... let's talk about it, ok? OK?

Eh, enough games. Nobody will take my storyteller place, NOBODY. Fangshi wasn't useful after he let me use his systems so I was forced to deal with him... for now. Trave was too dangerous, too many voting people, too much updates. Sorry, guys.

Well, it seems that only Cheesecake left, but I think I will let him keep that nice little spot he have.

Don't try anything and vote in Known World and everybody will be safe.

Maybe. :smug:

Heh, good one, Jester.

I know thing that cracks me up most is that is your actual massage from our talk earlier.

Treave and Lightbane gave us occasion for nice one two punch.

Leaving our highly sensitive, powerful scientific equipment like that out in the open is foolhardy. To keep it safe and away from prying eyes, the machine that you describe should be secured deep within a cavern of some sort. Preferably, it would be a warm, damp environment to ensure that the reagents can thrive there.

Relax, FO4 just released. Treave is merely playing it 7 times in excess of 400 hours so he can really explain how bad it is. afterwards.

Treave said that regular update schedule will be re-established in either December or January, I think. Until then, he must undergo vigorous research on the hunting habits of slimes to meet the heights of quality in reporting that we have become accustomed to.

I'm pretty sure that this is probably what he has actually been doing. That, along with building a painstaking replica of the regeneration machine built according to ScubaV's specifications. It will be his greatest masterpiece.
