Couldn't she just hide her tiny wings in shadow or else wear her armor?
edit:
Well, to put it bluntly, our character realizes - even through his obsession - that revival is pretty much impossible
It's a fantasy setting. Do you really want to talk "impossible" after being turned into an angel? Like the update says - it's rumored to have been done before.

treave, are demons known on this world?
They were at war with a Demon Lord, and goblins still worship him.

But that was 10000 years ago, there is no way to tell if anyone but the gobbos remember or care. The gobbos say that they are the only ones who still keep the old traditions.

treave, are demons known on this world? If we take Rin along for the ride, will she be immediately recognized as a demon?

All the surviving non-human races fled east thousands of years ago. You don't know if there has been any regular contact between humans and demons since then, and whether that contact is friendly. The goblins are a little too isolated to know that.

If she is in her full armour and hides her tail she wouldn't be recognized as a demon immediately though.

The party at the ruins could be rather powerfull. Strong enough to deal with the giant fire minotaur at least, maybe even sent their to deal with the minotaur. This isn't a weak scouting party. Bringing enough firepower just in case and robust to carry the loot.

After reading your commentaries, I reconsidered and thus edited my voting post to change the option 3 to bring Rin and Runde, leaving Robust behind to take care of the defense, if only so that we do not return to a village in ruins.

Yeah, now that I think about it, Robust is kind of redundant if we already have Rin.

Unfortunately, there doesn't appear to be a way to leave Robust out of this, as everyone is voting for him, so taking Runde is likely to result in leaving Rin behind.

My take is that goblins alone are helpless against an organized human force of knights and spellcasters, and that the best response for them would be not to try and mount a defence, but to flee and scatter, waiting until the invaders go away or until their Lord returns. Robust won't make a differerence, like Rin would.

Of course, I do not believe for a second that there is another group in the vicinity, since we know that the raiders came here to investigate the ruins, not after the goblin slaves. And it looks like the intention of whoever sent this party here was to accumulate a mighty force that could potentially dispose of a serious threat - like a minotaur - that could have been dwelling in the ruins. It does not make sense for them to split up.

I also don't like it that the decay has already set it, I want my heads in the jar to be pretty.
With a bit of clever taxidermy, she can be made to *look* pretty. :M
That said, I find the idea of turning our only trusty companion and a friend into a talking skull against her wishes quite amusing, especially coming from the folk who didn't care much for the 'MWAHAHA, AM I EVUL! HERE, WATCH ME EAT A KITTEN TO PROVE JUST HOW EVUL I AM!" type (which some of us are trying to push), even though the 'MWAHAHA, ME MADZ!' type is pretty similar.
I rather think it'd be less about being evil and more about being a letch and a troll. It'd just be funny for the conversation we'd have when we told her that not only did we betray humanity for some poon, but we resurrected her severed head for...our own purposes.

You would have to conquer an additional kingdom or two to supply all the perfume required to mask the odour, though. :M

And yeah, reanimating your friend against her wishes is evil. Not that I mind, with this being Overlord LP and all, I just wanted to reserve this stuff for people we don't like. Kyle's skull would make a fantastc cup.

With Rin, we don't need anyone else for the actual encounter, but we need a guide to catch up with the invaders. Robust or Runde, it doesn't matter. I just prefer to take someone who can take care of themselves and who won't be missed too much in case things go sour.

I have an idea. How about we just drop Robust from our votes, leaving only Rin and letting the others decide. Personally I think that the vote boost Robust gets because no one cares about him in non-sensical.

I'm pretty sure the thread title is "Overlord", not "Weak Willed Pussy".

Oh. Well... Exactly. :M

BTW, the other reason I want to raise her is so she can yell at Kyle for murdering her.

We will hang their skulls just opposite each other so that we can amuse ourselves. Thus, the first talk-show will be born.

Also, there might be other uses. But we probably shouldn't overdo it.

If we were to invent a magical scouter and calculate overall power levels, let's say a normal human has a baseline of 35, then Runde would be about 38. Robust would be 45. Rin would be 9872, or 13216 with her wrath and you would be at 6080, or 11456 with lightning form. :M

What? We are weaker than our maidservant when she gets a little angry? And we call ourselves the Angry Angel? What a disgrace!

Do we even lift? :M

You suffered a bit of a downgrade when you reset your job class. :M

For reference, Kyle would be about 4840, Rurik 3136, Lobelia 5124, Althus 3536, Syke 3248 and Mieren at 5184.

I'm making all these numbers up. :M

Mieren's Head gives a 1.5 multiplier to your power level. :M

You won't fool the Codex so easily. Obviously, there is a formula that derives power levels from our stats, and victory and defeat are only a question of math.

I am extrapolating it even as we speak. Once it is ready, we will have the ultimate walkthrough!

Mieren's Head gives a 1.5 multiplier to your power level.
By virtue of always carrying our trigger with us so that we could enter the Unstoppable Rage at will?

A potions are to be used not hoarded.
A nd there is no point of pussy footing around, since we will be in combat soon enough one way or another.
I & III we have a tank and a dps, so LFG one spot open healer. Cause our char is more like a paladin and we know paladin is a dps.

Tigranes, according to Nevill's latest tally, we're tied between Rin and Rudne for the ruins team (Robust is way ahead of them both). Could help resolve it?

Can't we get anyone to flop from Rin or even Robust to Rudne for folks to bring along on the trip? We say in last option B that we want the village fortified, which seems to indicate that we see some sort of coming threat to the village even if nothing's at the ruins and we leave well enough alone. It could easily be the case that such a party comes against the village while we're out and they'd be about helpless to stop the humans from wrecking their shit with only Rudne checking on things; remember that he has the worst charisma of any of them, the least fighting skills magic aside (which he's still shown no ability to use currently despite his potential if I recall correctly) and that despite being the son of the Chief treave has said that that doesn't provide him with a real sort of authority among his people. He's the single worst option to organize any sort of defense if someone were to stumble across the village. I think that we'll be safe enough without needing to bring Rin around to the ruins with the absurdly powerful spells at our disposal should it come to violence. I don't want to our only village of minions to be massacred by some scavenger party just because we decided to roll out all the big guns in fear of a scouting party.

I'm down, but one person flopping would just create a tie.
