Mechwarrior needs to be a combined arms game(yes I love Living Legends). Mech on mech action is just not fun enough on its own here, the group-tactical nature of the series demands it(as opposed to Armored Core solo approach). At least there will be a story this time around and since DUNC is all the hype right now maybe they'll do space opera some justice for once.

It's extremely weird honestly, first because the Jags don't care about political ideologies (bar Clan ones, of course) and because as clan Nigger Pitbull they were written as tyrannical as they could (caste system bad even for Clan standards, loot economy, brutal politics). I mean, the ending of the Invasion is the lily-white Davion Man decapitating with a katana the Angry Black Man Khan of the Jags after humiliating him.

Still, a good pick for a campaign, it's not the Wolves at least.

Nope, the main issue of MW5 campaign - random procedurally generated missions with enemies spawning behind your back - can't be fixed with mods

You forgot to mention they say the game has 16 mechs in total and the AI is still shit.

Saw that later. Apparently the AI still does the thing where it absolutely has to be in engagement range of ALL weapons, even fucking small lasers, at all times.

That's the level of quality I can expect huh
