I will take a wild guess that he is referring to the Dark Savant from Wizardry 7 and 8. Mostly Wizardry 8 (see 360° movement instead of tile-based movement).

  1. 100% of the votes should be to put markers. Wtf, I can't be asked to draw a fucking physical map to remember where every shop and house is, it's a game, not fucking work.

Free movement MIGHT be okay if they do it Wiz 8 style, but no thank you if they go for MM6-9 style FPS-style combat.

Besides, if this game is at all profitable, and it seems like it will be, there will definitely be an MM11 and it will probably be free-roaming.

That's the question of questions...

Never has a revival of a game series divided the community so much. There is even a chance that the majority of sales already happened by the Early Access and now it's "finito". I doubt that's enough for Ubisoft economy experts. Let's hope it doesn't turn out that way - but if it does then it's clear they bet on the wrong horse and MM11 will never see the light of day. Considering this aspect the developer studio has a very high responsibility....

Doubtful.

Don't blame Limbic. Making it grid-based was Marzhin's idea, and he works at Ubisoft. The developers are just contractors.

It looks like Grimrock and plays even better than Grimrock, so maybe it will sell like Grimrock? Plus, it has a big name on it.
