and I think when you are 27, you want original mind game, when you are 15 you want freeform hack&slash (daggerfall) with shiny graphics and immersive world.

I feel compelled to cry bullshit on that one. Fallout was released when i was 11 and i fell totally in love with that game, wasn't to taken with freeform hack&slash (except for take no prisoners, anybody played that?)

I think the success of Oblivion is the fault of the consolization of gamers. Or maybe i was just an inordinately cynical child
