Aw shit here we go again...
*cracks knuckles, stretches neck*
Time to breakdown top 5 of the most desired Smash DLC characters to a bunch of codex boomers.
1. Myron (Fallout 2)
A long time favourite of the community (it's no secret how closely tangled OG fallout crowd is with the pro smash scene), Myron was on a Nintendo's radar since the late 90's. With his iconic nerd looks and rapey/creepy dialogue lines, it's no secret why the character is so appealing to your average smash player, but for years it seemed like Reggie was too afraid to diversify the well-established roster with such an overpowered fighter. Maybe it's time, Reggie?
2. Kings Roland and Archibald (Heroes of Might & Magic II)
Name the most iconic brothers duo in a videogame history. Mario & Luigi? Don't be ridiculous, I'm talking about everyone's favourite royal brothers Archibald & Roland! The undisputed leaders of any "top desired SMASH characters" poll held in the last 20 years, the iconic King Brothers of Enroth still await their SMASH entrance, mostly due to Nintendo concerns of them moving Mario and Luigi away from the spotlight.
3. Imoen (Baldur's Gate Series)
The little kinky stepsister you never had, subject of thousands of thirsty incest fanfics and the second place runner-up Most Annoying Fictional Character 1999 (after Star Wars: The Phantom Menace's Jar Jar Binks of course)... meet Imoen! A character with catchphrase directly inspired by Nintendo's Super Mario Bros ("Heya! Itsa me, Imoen!") may finally return to her Nintendo roots in a form of becoming a brand new SMASH fighter.
4. Caleb (Blood)
Blood... While never actually ported to any of the Nintendo systems, this BUILD engine PC classic speaks directly to the souls of Nintendo fans around the world. The family-friendly and colorful atmosphere of the series combined with its well-spoken, fun and quirky protagonist makes Caleb a great possible addition to the future SMASH roster.
5. Little Rosy (Cleveland Blakemore's Grimoire: The Heralds of the Winged Exemplar)
And finishing today's list, the latest SMASH fans obsession: Grimoire's Little Rosy! Since the 2017 release of the critically acclaimed modern cRPG classic Cleveland Blakemore's Grimoire: The Heralds of the Winged Exemplar, Nintendo social media accounts were bombarded by fan's petitions for this little fairy to become a part of the new SMASH DLC! According to the 2020 insider leak, Cleveland Blakemore and Reggie have already negotiated the upcoming Switch port of Grimoire v3, but what does it mean for Little Rosy? Will we ever see her in SMASH? Share your thoughts below, and don't forget to press the like and subscribe buttons!
