I think they missed perfect opportunity to end base game - right after boss fight in The Two Faces of Hospitality but before Raiden appears.

IT'S KICKING MY ASS A MILLION TIMES HARDER THAN ANY SOULS OR SOULS-LIKE
Which enemy do you struggle with?

The two horses are dead. First horse kicked my *** several times, then the "true" (?) boss was a breeze, down on first attempt. The forge demon was another story. Very telegraphed attacks but a shitton of hp. Took like 8 attempts to go down. Very good bosses so far.
Some questions guys:
i'm maining switchglaive, what other weapon complement it well? i choose punches as secondary but i'm not sure i like it.
secondly, which is the best path to follow to spend point in omnyo? as first point i choose water talisman, but maybe purify and lughting were better? wich paths unlock the best stuff?

Put a point in a #shot talisman as soon as you can. I chose Fire and happy with it. I'm not sure how the calculation works, but it seems that the more damage you do with magic, the more your skill goes up. 'Best stuff' is pretty subjective, but Sloth is as cheesy and good as ever in base difficulty. As regards a weapon to complement switchglaive, spirit staff is the obvious choice as they both scale with your magic stat. I tend to keep a switch glaive for fighting revenants as High stance heavy attack wrecks them and a spirit staff for everything else.

This is the correct assumption. Attacking with a talisman charged on your weapon also works. In fact, this is by far the best way to level Onmyo and Ninjutsu, especially the latter in the beginning of the game. Rush your way to the -broths and try your best to remember applying them. It'll get you a ton of skill points fast in the early game. As you play you'll end up with enough points to max out 80% of the tree.

It's fucking hilarious how boss fights can be made easier just with the right trick. Like that Umi bozu fight from the first nioh. You can use fire mask to deal huge damage to that fuck. Or in this game the second boss and the columns. Or the third boss and poison pits.

Is there a better mission to farm divines/divine graces on DotD than Eye of the Beholder? Breezed through DotD without graces but the last boss is build checking me from getting into DotW.

FUCKING TOSHIMITSU FFS!! WAS ONE HIT AWAY AND THE FUCKER GRABS ME AND KILLS ME FROM 3/4 HP!! *sobs* :argh::argh::argh::argh: I hate this fucker worse than Hino-Enma.

And now I read he's a DLC boss and I'm probably underleveled, despite the bullshit mission suggesting level 63. Time to git gud or come back later. I think I'll....

Isn't Toshimitsu that guy with the odachi who constantly spams spells? The one you fight in the Tatarimokke (the giant bird with three eyes) arena? He is not a DLC boss, but he still is pretty tough.

Yeah, that's him. No, not DLC but apparently he was put in after release to give players waiting for DLC an extra challenge or something? Dunno, just what I read when I was searching for other people feeling my pain.

The annoying thing was, I knew what I was doing. I was too cautious when I got him down low and I didn't press enough because I was too scared of losing. Pressing was what got him down in the first place, backing off and waiting for an opening was fatal.

He's a fucker, but he'll go down in the end.

Snake is gone, after 8 tries. It was a FANTASTIC boss. Also loved the level design of the mission. I was left a bad first impression with first level, but second and third level were exceptional, level desing wise and boss wise. If it keeps this quality Nioh 2 will surpass every From souls game except DS1 and BB

Good news for the 2 or 3 people who are playing this game with KBM - they finally fixed the rapid target switching on mouse movement in today's patch. Now you can disable it. Made my KBM experience several magnitudes more enjoyable.

The best level design still waits for you in later mission - The Mausoleum of Evil. They clearly can do it, they are just not consistent.

That has to be my absolute favorite level. Everything else feels too generic or a rehashed version of something we've already seen in the first game, but The Mausoleum of Evil is definitely unique and fun to explore.
