Later difficulties make the cap 200. Then there's even more grind later with focus levels. So 99 is max stat? I have 99 strength. Me stronk.
I've spent almost 3 weeks playing daily for first playthrough. Sometimes until morning. Thing is once you finish first it's much faster - you just need to finish some missions to unlock next difficulty, don't need to do everything again. Only one mission is mandatory and it's hardest part of unlocking next dream.Man you must have played pretty much non-stop.
I'm not. I was sitting until morning yesterday. Too much rape. Back to upgrading equip and farming amrita.I'm actually close to unlocking fourth difficulty.
Three pokes sounds overleveled and overpowered tbhkill me in 3 pokes
Dream of the Samurai is pretty much a tutorial until you reach the DLCs. Then it's nonstop Team Ninja hitting you in the dick with a hammer. All 3 bosses in Dawn were a bit disappointing.
Especially Kasha.
She looked so cool with her spinning wheels and shining boobs, but died before draining half of my elixirs.
Get ready for skeleton pokes to oneshot in later difficultiesI would have thought thattatenashi armor is overpoweredI over-leveled this area, if a fucking spearman-skelly would not kill me in 3 pokes if I was not paying attention.
Hey, i have 7k hp from stuffing all single graces items on me! I'm 2-shot! For skeleton.Get ready for skeleton pokes to oneshot in later difficulties
There are some cool sets later utilizing onmyo and ninjutsu. Even fucking shurikens can be fun.
Bloody hell. 130 hours in Nioh 1 and 65 in Nioh 2 and I only just discovered the quality 'Untouched Onmyo XX%' means the chance for your Onmyo magic not to be used up when cast. I always thought it gave you a damage boost if you didn't use any Onmyo, and thus was pretty useless!

There's a button you can press that explains what all the item effects in the inventory screen.
"Untouched ammo" made sense to you?Yes, I just never bothered looking at that one because to me it was obvious that 'Untouched Onmyo 3.9%' meant you had a 3.9% damage boost if you didn't touch any of your Onmyo. Sounds bonkers, but I thought it was maybe used in a pure melee build to give them an incentive to not use any magic. I LOL at that now, but I thought it made perfect sense. If it'd said 'free Onmyo 3.9%' then I'd have realised what it was doing. How's the saying go? Every day's a school day.

I worded that poorly. Heavy armor is fine until the higher levels of the depths, but that isn't something to worry about until way later.Get ready for skeleton pokes to oneshot in later difficultiesI would have thought thattatenashi armor is overpoweredI over-leveled this area, if a fucking spearman-skelly would not kill me in 3 pokes if I was not paying attention.
So heavy armor is completely not viable past the Dream of the Samurai?
What's the point of defense and toughness if you can't survive a hit from the lowliest of enemies?
