Why does this game always look so shit? The Water effects are overdone, as if nobody at their studio has ever been outside in their life. They showed a character model completely vanish in their own trailer. And I don't think they could have found a more bored sounding narrator.

This is the epitome of polishing a turd. It starts as a decent meal, you mine around, have decent materials based on the elements, decent processing chain, upgrading your equipment, ship and base is interesting...bam! your initial satisfaction is met and now after 3-4 hours the game turns into actual shit.

Fishing was the perfect fit for this game. So much so, that I'm surprised it took them this long to implement it.
Now if they make the effects you get from food consumption actually matter in the game, it'll give the whole loop a reason to exist.
