Sorry Rex - low blow. 'Twas late.

Tintin - you still can't actually come up with an actual argument. What 'true statements' have you made? That "no music in MIDI format can ever be more sophisticated than the great God Soule"? What, exactly, have you proven by opening a daggerfall track with a bit of software? You are unable to appreciate musical composition and ideas, and keep screeching the same dumb pointless shit over, and over again.

Tintin, you know nothing about music. That much is clear. You're also a useless little troll, who contributes nothing to these boards save to annoy with your rank idiocy. Why don't you go away and form your '"We hate Sonic Youth (but we're actually obsessed with them) Klub", along with Rex and the Drugged_Cow. You can even make a picture showing yourselves at the back of one of their gigs, frowning and cursing.

This thread has now become lamer-ified by you into utter pointlessness. Please have the last word, Tintin, since I know you live for it (by no means address any actual argument). Don't forget to mention Sonic Youth once more - they'll be overjoyed to hear your support I'm sure.

Right Twinfalls. You're favourite "music" is SoNiK yOuTH! and you tell me that I don't appreciate musical composition.

Get this through your thick head - Daggerfall's music is simpler in composition than Morrowind's music whether you like it or not.

Musical complexity isn't "that soundz kewl" which I clearly proved by opening a daggerfall midi and showing you - in pictureZ which you should be able to understand, example how simple in composition it is. Still don't believe it? Well, shows your ignorance.

What exactly have I proven? How about that the picture clearly fucking shows a MIDI consisting of THREE simple MIDI tracks. Note to note string movements, pizzicato and single bell note on each line. And Twinfalls calling it "more sophisticated" than a full orchestral piece.

You can keep repeating "u knowz nuthin bout musik", but I am confident that anyone with a clue about music reading this right now, will understand how little you know about music. Actual knowledge helps more than baseless statements, you'll find out  Not electric guitar and drum pounding - music.

Maybe you could stop trying to pretend I said something so you can look KeWl?

Tintin, you know nothing about music. That much is clear.

Yep, everyone. I don't know anything about music - because I have enough experience to realize that created a MIDI with few tracks is not nearly more sophisticated composition than composing and orchestrating a piece for a full orchestra. Because I know how to separate "complexity" and "it soundz kewl". Twinfalls, musical genius! He knows who Beethoven is!!

-P.S. The final great argument

Please have the last word, Tintin, since I know you live for it

Translates into: "I'm finally beginning to look like an idiot, so I'm going to run away by repeating my lies and saying "I'm done". It's a nice trick, but it ain't going to get you anywhere.

-PPS: Anyone notice Twinfalls forgot about the reccuring theme bit again?

If anything, this thread proves a very interesting pattern. One guy, who has a superiority complex but no experience in the field he's talking about, versus a guy who does. The first one will always think he's right because of this, even when he's wrong - because he of course believes his wrong opinion is right, and therefore believes the right opinion to be wrong. And thus accuses the one who does know what he's talking about of not knowing what he's talking about. Pretty funny, if you ask me. A little short of completely deluding himself.
