Probably changes hues for some colors. It's actually quite easy to add that to your rendering pipeline and helps a lot for people with this affliction.

Also it would be amazing if they would add gamespeed setting like in BG2.
I always choose 45 FPS instead of fucking 30 and game played much much much better.
