I checked for an Eternity trademark for specifically Video Game copyright, but didn't see anything. I could have missed something though. There are A LOT of products with the brand name Eternity sadly (t-shitrs, medical equipment, sun glasses etc..). That was rather amusing.
I went onto the USPTO's site and do a trademark search for "Obsidian Enterntainment" (Obsidian's full name) in the owner field, the only marks that come up are those for Obsidian's trademark in its own name. I'm guessing the trademarks for their games are probably owned by the publishers and/or licensors for their licensed properties. Compare against BioWare, which has all of their original properties listed.
Was the Wheel of Time game ruled out? The ourobouros is a pretty prominent symbol in those books and the concept of eternity and cyclical time is so foundational that it is the title of the series (The Wheel of Time and the ourobouros-like Great Serpent are both symbols of this).
Plus, Red Eagle Games, the company Obsidian joined up with for WoT just announced a tablet game:

Possibly Red Eagle took over mobile, while Obsidian took over the PC/Console.
Also the Sawyer pic definitely has the entire left side of that anagram/poster cut off, so it might be incomplete. (EDIT: a blow-up of the picture in the other thread illustrates this pretty clearly)
