Why must this game be so boring?
It's pretty to look at but dull to play, it just feels like another MMORPG in that regard.

Honestly?

If you played all the episodes I would say what would be left is just the daily grind, user missions might change that (in fact, it what makes it a bit better that other MMO were at least content can be added in a more regular basis) and I think many of the Episode missions are niffy, like the one you travel back to the past to the station and can either use the "Medical Phaser" or avoid/talk your way out of trouble.

MMO are MMO, they are not going to change but you can have some interresting experiences when you get into a Clusterfuck with other people and try to reach a objective.

I got my Picard spaceship and killed Vger and got a whole 480 dilithium out of it.

Gonna say I beat the game and probably quit now.

Nope, that is after you beat all the episodes and do the Borg Invasion Fleet Action missions ... good luck with those fucking turrets.

Also a reminder, on the 2nd there will be the anniversary event with Q giving quests and the Odyssey-class quest (meaning, you do it and you get it for free ... its Rear Admiral but you can do it if you are at least level , just you cannot fly it until level 50).

Moo?
When you new guys (or Vaarna_Aarne) get up to the level where you can have Duty Officers, I've left a couple packs of them in the Fleet Bank, and I'll put more in every once in awhile. I get them pretty easy from my own assignments.

heh... by moving the pve scenario button in the dropdown menu with the last patch and replacing it with the deuterium shop, they've just about killed pve scenarios

been playing the klingon side a bit now and it is pretty meh... you jump from 0 to 20 in a single conversation but it's a lot of running around and doing stupid stuff after that (seemed to take forever until i got my first space mission)... some of the missions are glitchy and the early ones are pretty unbalanced... also: you get to do the walking-around-in-the-dark-with-a-completely-useless-flashlight-mission again

oh and about the fleet bank: requesting access

Not really, people still will be doing the STF grind and there is some Daily for Admiral Ranks (Klingon Scout Fleet is a daily for me). It just makes it more annoying and the store is pointless as its just easier to use the exchange or just replay/war zones for loot.

Oh I am Aleena@f2pdrakron

dwarvenfood@slopa then. thnx, my lovely Trill will be joining service on the USS Black Cat.
Can't send you an invite for some reason. You used capital letters and spaces correctly? Cryptic's system registers them too, so my handle for one character for example is Kapteeni Karjala@vaarna_aarne.

you get the mission from engineer kani in front of the admiral's office on earth dock (once you have the mission, you have to beam to your ship, where you can start the 'take her for a spin' part)... there's also Q in the club 47 disco and he gives out a mission to hunt party crashers at starfleet academy

(talk to the party crasher, watch where the thing spawns, wait for the root debuff to run out, run after that spawned thing, when you get close enough a button saying "stop" will appear, which you have to press or hit F... repeat 5 times)

indeed... you're better off taking the dilithium

the Odyssey class is pretty good, though. not very agile, but very very tough. looks like my days with the escort class ships are over.

unfortunately the Bortas class is not that convincing. i wasn't able to test it thoroughly, because i lack the klingon levels, but the test mission didn't leave me very impressed. should have battle cloak and it'd be a blast.

Well the Odyssey handles a lot like the Galaxy but seems to have better inertia as it does feel like it stops better (the Galaxy simply felt out of control when it come to moving), I do dread taking it on a STF since what really matters on those is firepower and speed.

Problem is moving from a Sovereign to the Odyssey means I lost a Engineering post and gained a Science one, the Universal is nice but since I also lost a Tactical that means its going to slot to it ... in short, I have to review my Bridge Crew since as they could run the Sovereign, I have too many Engineers and I am one Science officer short.
