Once felipepepe gets back to me with how he wants to handle changes and edits I will be giving my Ultima 1 review a second pass.

Like I said to him, an editor gives us feedback and such.

As writers we should make use of said feedback and edit as needed.

Hell, in my own blogging I have sort of wished for an editor to keep me on the straight and narrow, not just to catch spelling and grammar errors.

Its also giving me some idea of how my Defender of the Crown review will go.

Sure I would LOOOVE to go all Big Steve King on Ultima 1 and write like 5 goddamned pages or some fuckery but then you are just becoming Tim Rogers or some other similar navel gazing fucktard. Or even just go picture or comic blog style and take gobs of shots with captions and mouseover text.

But this way makes me write different and hopefully BETTER. Which is good. It will improve my writing!

For those into writing, I actually managed to contact Scorpia and she sais she's interested in the book... :D
Wow that is very cool! I read her cRPG reviews in CGW as a kid. She's like the original cRPG guru.

This book will be legendary!

Also, from the BioWare forums comes a great review on one of the greatest classics in the book:

Hey felipepepe a quick note about Retribution. I don't think I'm going to give that a lot of space since it has the option to be played mostly like an RTS. I won't exclude it entirely but it will be much shorter than the sections for the other 2 games.

No problem man, you don't have to be equal with all expansions. Focus on what you think is important. ;)

OK, I finished Silver. It didn't get much better in the second half, but I will attempt a review anyway.
Now, felipepepe, is the 2000 character limit with spaces not? 'Cause that's a significant difference.

Sorry, felipepepe I may have to give up Dragon Age 2. Schedule's pretty busy and I have other commitments - I don't want to waste time playing Dragon Age 2 or watching it on youtube to refresh myself. I'll have the other reviews up for editing in the other thread later this week, though.

I'm new to the Codex, but would gladly write a review for Mount & Blade (which I see is still unclaimed). I'd also really have enjoyed writing one for Knights of Legend, but I see norolim has already snapped it up...

Once you get back to me with your next round of edit recommendations felipepepe I will give the Ultima 1 review a final tweak. I mostly covered all your requests on my second draft I think. Dropped like a 120 words from the main body, and cut the caption texts by a metric assload.

No big dude! Real Life is far more important than vidyagames.

Ive mostly been playing Infinity Blade 2, and messing around with Stonekeep and Dungeon Master 2 I got cheap off the bay:

I haven't been too worried. Though I think we can probably finish Ultima 1 today so I can possibly get my first draft of DOTC in this week or next Monday at the latest.

I've mucked around with a star wars one and for a while was part of crpg.net's persistent multiplayer one.
Aside from the original, I also own and have played Warband (crpg.net mod was for this) and With Fire and Sword. Mostly only the multiplayer aspect of F&S however...

Sound good?
