My favourite was the alien that asks you to sing an old song, and how he hollers at you when you get it wrong. It's actually a cool quest where you have to travel to a mine and listen to the prisoners singing the song while they work, then recite it by line to the old alien.

Also liked the alien that's kindo of faggy and has that unhealthy obsession with those ostrich things(forget the name).

Isn't that a compass at the top of this image? At least it looks like one.

But it's not a quest compass.
Next you tell me is that Bippy-Poo doesn't have a yellow exclamation mark hovering over his head.

Sometimes they wave and shout 'Ulukai, over here!'

Imo this game actually has the best quest compass ever made in a game: You talk to a random person, and they give you directions where you should go based on where you are(and if I remember correctly, not everyone knows where a certain thing is, so you have to ask around).

I've had this on my to-play list for 2 or 3 years now. I keep forgetting that I have it except for every once in a while when people here bring it up (usually to talk about how great it is). Maybe I'll give it a whirl next week while my nice computer is in the shop and post some impressions.

If you do it by trial and error before visiting the Motazaar, your character will say that he has a good musical ear.

That is sexist. Bippy-Poo, despite her masculine-sounding name, could be a female.

All the females are on an island in the Okasankaar.

And damn Spekkio, I thought you were more hardcore than that.

FFS!
Looking for a certain alien-popamoler in a crowd of 100 identical-looking aliens is part of this game's charm. I kept getting lost in the city with each visit, even late in the game.
Also, one of the few SF games where aliens using english language is well explained in the game.

Oopsie, should I put it into [spoliar[ tags?
:M

Actually most of them have some small visual differences up close, like some streaks of another colour on the face or the "hands". Sure it doesn't help to find them in a crowd but it's a nice touch.

Most of all the stuff is given an in-game justification (saving, bottomless backpack, etc.) which is also rather nice. Saving is also handled nicely, making you immobile and likely to attract close enemies when you use the crystal, so you can't easily save in the middle of a fight unless you first take cover.

No, the spoiler tag is for the weak and I hate the weak.
